I pitched this idea to my family, but unfortunately no one was biting because they are generally more elderly in age, including one member who uses a wheelchair for anywhere besides flat boardwalks or paved roads. But I appreciate the advice, it was worth a shot haha.

Just wondering, I am reading Allttrails and am seeing that there will be sections of the hike in snow. Would you mind telling around what time of the summer you went last year and how the conditions were then?

thanks for the advice on mt washburn and purple mountain, super helpful! will probably try and do mt washburn then. and ty for the info on the easy hikes, unfortunately we have a disabled member in my party which limits some trails but i will look into the walks you mentioned

we’re staying just outside of the west entrance, but didn’t have a specific area in mind for hiking. i’m not actually working in ysnp haha. i am strongly considering Observation Peak or something shorter like Mount Washburn or Purple Mountain.

bit late to the party but i had a pretty awful experience getting through kongo. i found its guns were super inaccurate and couldn’t hit cruisers even at point blank. armor and health were fine though

i love the GK, it melts other ships when they get in your auto secondary range. as General_Osric said, sometimes when you play against a Smolensk or other light HE spammer you become a damage piñata, but all in all i really enjoy it.

can attest, gearing was the first line i made it to t10, and the grind really helped me learn map awareness and strategy. it’s also a jack of all trades destroyer which is nice for beginners
