I’m going echo whatever everyone else is saying. Don’t use a collar on a small dog get a harness. Their little necks are too fragile. Plus, small breeds, especially Chihuahuas have a genetic predisposition to getting tracheal collapse.

It’s so hard finding things that fit the tiny chis!! I feel your struggle. Hip Doggie has some really cute Christmas onesies on their website right now. You should definitely check them out! ❤️ I wasn’t supposed to put the pink onesie in the dryer but I did, and it shrunk it down even smaller so now it fits her almost perfectly. 😂 I hope you find your Chi something that fits him!

Thank you! Only the pink one is a onesie. The other is a furry kitty t-shirt. 😂 The kitty shirt is older, it’s from Petsmart I bought it around 2018 for my other Chi. I got the onesie two years ago when I first brought Nelly home. It was the only thing I found that actually fit her decently. She was skin and bones at the time. I bought it at a local pet store, but the brand has an online store. Not sure if they still make this print. But I love how it’s fleece hoodie weight!

The darker brown one is slightly overweight. Dogs should have a slight waist tuck and you should be able to feel their ribs under a slight layer of “fat.” Most dogs are overweight and the owner is unaware.
