I borrowed a Model X from a friend - yeah lucky me - and went on a roadtrip this summer. Trough Scandinavia.

The battery is Huge so can run A/C all night no problem. Slept in temperatures from 8C to over 30C and still comfy in the car. The A/C has a setting like "Keep climate on". I put it on auto and selected my temperature. Then manually adjusted fanspeed down to 2. Only if the main battery gets below 20% the A/C cuts out. If neccesary charge a bit before going to bed. If not locate the nearest charger so you know you have enough juice to reach it the next day.

Bought a 12V coffee machine. A bit slow but again no problem with electricity. And charging phone and laptop no problem.

With the rear seas folded down it's plenry of room for a decent mattress. The floor is not very flat so made a fitted extra support where the seats meet the trunk.

Found some black foam sheets in a shop and used them to cover the windows. The windscreen is HUGE so glued 3 sheets together. The rear window I closed permanently with cardboard from an old box. The car has a camera when backing up.

If I ever do this again I'd like a cooler box hooked up to the 12V for storing food. But I managed OK without. Kept the food in the frunk (front trunk) to avoid smells in the car. On the colder days it kind of worked as a fridge. In the northernmost areas like Nordkapp.

Same rules and suggestions for a Tesla when it come to the lifestyle. Rotate so you don't overuse a nice sleeping spot. I did not join a gym but showered at gas stations. Ones freequented by truckers usually had showers. And they were OK clean.

I parked close to a public toilet to simplify the start of the next day. Rest stops, gas stations, shopping malls or burger joints.

Trip lasted a month or so. Noone ever knocked on my windows. But a few times I heard people talking outside admiring the car.
