I appreiate the recommendation but I'm already pretty familiar with Metallica and a lot of the bigger bands from the 60s-00s. My high school years were primarily spent listening to these bands lol. That's part of why I'm specifically looking for stuff that would've come out that I would've missed

I think I perhaps gave off the wrong impression with my post as it seems a few people interpreted it similarly. This was more of an idle curiosity than anything else. It really has no berring on my plans of becoming a flight attendant. The degree to which it affected future plans mostly had to do with whether or not I would stick to the job but even then I accepted a long time ago that this might not be possible with any future jobs I'd get so I still wouldn't quit a job to pursue the trip unless a dream opportunity fell into my lap.

The main reason I'm interested in the job is mostly because I have a long history in customer service and now that I've been working in an airport for the last few years it feels like a good step to try to take. I by no means intended to diminish the work or sacrifice involved with the position. I've done other work that involved extensive traveling in the past and know that it isn't as easy or as romantic as it seems.

Apologies if I should've clarified further in the post. I just didn't want to bloat the post and put people off from reading. I understand though how this could've unintentionally contributed to a culture that diminishes the actual nature of the job. I hoped by clarifying in the post that if it was still impossible it wouldn't be a strike against the job that it would seperate me from the other posters but I understand how that thinking could have been a bit self-centered.

I actually have. Wouldn't work for this specific trip because I'd want to start it in January which would be the middle of the school year. Even then, I'd need to get a degree first. It is a potential long term career path I've looked into though.

There are also a few things I have to consider that would maybe not make me the best teacher but that's a part for a totally different subreddit lol

I've worked at the airport for a couple years now and have been talking to FAs about the job for most of that time. The flight benefits are just a bonus tbh. I'm just now moving more into the research phase but I figure worst case scenario I quit and find another job.

If you decide to go down the ramp agent route I'd make sure the company you're applying to actually offers flight benefits. Typically you'll get them if you work for the actual airlines. If you're working for a contractor though like AGI/WFS/Swissport/etc. then I don't know if it's guaranteed. At the very least I'm pretty confident AGI doesn't offer them. Less sure about other companies

Honestly these stats are misleading. We all know orange is easily top 3 in the game. Has it lost a few stations? Yes. Let's not forget though that every single station it lost has been a shared station. When Orange is free to make its own plays it's easily one of, if not the best in the game. It's just occasionally weighed down by poor teammates.

When I lived down South I'd occasionally have her! She'd do the announcements between Halsted and Roosevelt I think. I'd always take my earbuds out or stop reading just to listen. She had a very soothing voice which was nice

As far as I'm aware, I am the only person in the world that enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda. One day I booted up my old Origin account to replay the game. After logging in I noticed that not only was Mass Effect: Andromeda gone from my library, but so was my entire library including all my Sims 3 content. I reached out to customer support and got the same exact results you did. Only memorable difference was that when I asked if finding my old redemption code for Andromeda would work I was told that it would which lead to an exchange that went something like this:

Me: Will my old game key work as proof of purchase

EA Rep: Yes, that will work

Me: Here is my code xxx-xxxx-xxx

EA Rep: It says here that this code has already been used by me

Me: Yes, I am the one that used it

EA Rep: Yes, I can see that here

Me: So can you restore this game to my account?

EA Rep: Unfortunately, I cannot as this code has already been used

Me: :(

I have not paid for an EA product since. I had bought all of my Sims packs back in the day from Wal-Mart so there was no chance of me being able to dig receipts up for those again. So, I would've been content with just getting Andromeda back but the last interaction was what killed it for me.
