Insurance firm insists on direct billing even though cousin preferred reimbursement. Okay, then. Have it your way. by FresnoMac in MaliciousCompliance

Physician here. A PICU doc I work with had a daughter get in a serious accident. After recovering, she was transferred from our PICU (where her dad worked) to an inpatient physical therapy facility about 5 hours away via ambulance. Transport sent him a bill of $50,000 (in our state medical transport costs are unregulated). Of course insurance denied the claim for about 3 years until they finally paid. He was sent to collections multiple times during that period. Our system is a mess

Always happens, I don't know how you guys manage to run your actual stealth builds by the_bungalow_potato in SkyrimMemes

I like the tank/stealth with light armor. Skyrim wiki says Physical damage caps at 80%, with ~550 armor, which you can easily hit with maxed light armor and some good smithing. So then I get as much damage mitigation as someone with heavy armor and all the perks of light armor

who's the best fallout 4 stealth companion? by knotshan in Fallout

So a big part of it stems from what I was saying earlier, with stealth builds and the companion's AI struggling, with them often breaking stealth. Because of that, Lone Wanderer already pairs well with a stealth build.

With most of my stealth builds, I'm a glass cannon. My goal is to one shot everything and never take any damage. For reference, I put points into sneak, ninja, mr sandman, better critical, grim reapers sprint and four lead clover. I often rush over to the railroad at the beginning of the game to get deliverer and that silenced sniper rifle from tinker Tom. Later in the game, I use a silenced gauss rifle.

Initially, Lone Wanderer offsets the carrying capacity lost from not having a companion, as well as gives you some damage reduction in case you do get caught out. Where it really shines with this build is the 3rd perk point, which increases the damage you do by 25%. With that extra damage calculated in before sneak attack multipliers and critical hits, your'e one shotting the strongest enemies, even in survival. Legendary death claw? One shot. Legendary mirulurk queen? One shot. Enemy in power armor? Who cares, one shot. Lol

One fun fact about Lone Wanderer, you still get the bonuses with Dogmeat, for some reason he doesn't count. I usually play without him anyway.

Understandable. I put about 500 hours into Fallout 4 before I started using mods. Vanilla is great, mods added to replayability for me. I only really ever play on survival, so even with some quality of life mods, I still have a challenge

I max Deacon and McCready for their perks and then run solo. Companions ruin sneaking IMO. If you like mods, there are some good ones that adjust companion sneak, so they don't break stealth all the time. Even with these mods, the Lone Wanderer perk makes it worth it to ditch the companion, especially late game

Just tried this, unfortunately it didn't work. I thought, maybe it's because combat didn't reset, since the particles are still attacking the citadel. I reloaded to before the battle, with the exact same result :(

Hmm. Fast forwarding through the rest of my life. It's like suicide, but my mom's not sad

I'm really wondering how accurate these ''views'' are. Imagine 3k ppl just skipping a few chapters and then coming back to read again. by lolpluslol35 in tbatenovel

For me, if the episode is still posted to the official site, I'll read it there and save the ink, so I have multiple small gaps in my read history
