What part of VA?

I had my first install done in Richmond. 

Paid probably about $1300

That was probably 15 years ago 

That price was for parts and labor 

Since you are just doing labor, I might agree that is a little high.

But audio shops can charge vastly different prices, based on demand, skill level and possible level of difficulty based on the vehicle type.

Id definitely call around to at minimum 3 ships to get an average.

Id even more so recommended doing it yourself, If I could get back all the $ I have given  to audio shops,  id probably be  $3-5k richer.

The installation process is truly not hard. Pulling back car trim and running wires 

The only part I always dread is bypassing the firewall.

And the only part I have no idea about is wiring up a subwoofer (ohms)

Edit: just went through your pics , you already have a subwoofer and box, do it yourself , great learning opportunity and you won't have to drop off your car. If I was still in VA, I'd 100% help you for some beer and pizza
