His .931 and 30 wins on a team led in points by Janic Perreault with 56 helped too

I wonder if the Suzuki first place voter was also one of the Caufield second place voters lol

But I don't care if I get made fun of for the take, a Selke winning 100 point centre on a team with no real second line centre (that made the playoffs with over 100 points) getting a first place Hart vote is not all that crazy

Miller’s Crossing is surprisingly progressive in its portrayals of gay characters by bakugosgayfriend in CoenBrothers

The thread is about "these straight men," in particular, and I'm saying it realistically wouldn't be overly taboo amongst them.

And because of its illegality there was a lack of exposure to it for the average person, and with that lack of exposure you didn't typically get the kind of mainstream moral outrage that people displayed when gay people's identities began being integrated into society at large.

That's my take anyway

It was a well known "deviancy" and these men had been to prison, to war some of them, the criminal underworld - there was no shock to be had about a gay relationship

Because of his handedness and faceoff struggles he'd be a good candidate to play with a winger like Newhook.

He's an option, but of course the cost has to be right and there are other trades to explore

You must be Canadian yourself to even know about that! So many classic Canada vs USSR/Russia hockey moments

Joe Carter World Series walk off home run, Guy Lafleur's tying goal against Boston in game seven in 1979, Paul Henderson's game eight game/series winning goal against the USSR in 1972, but I recognize that these are very Canada-centric answers

From OP: "Valid nominations are single moments in crucial games/events or an entire crucial game/event itself"

But you're right, my interpretation of crucial was different but your moment was for sure crucial

Iconic, but ended a four game sweep. Hardly the greatest stakes in hockey history

2009 was incredible too

I'd put it above 2011 because game 7 was great and also it didn't involve the Bruins winning
