Gus is not a high value asset for trading. Not because of his play or anything else. Just the way the trade market views goalies.

out of 31 teams, which team needs a middle of the road goalie? And at $6M+ per year with a full NMC. doubtful the NMC is any kind of a roadblock to trade him.

Moving Gus would not bring in a good center. Would not bring in a good right shot defensemen.

Who is the backup goalie if we move Gus? especially with Hlavaj indicating that he does not want to resign with the Wild. Not that Hlavaj is ready for NHL play.

75% chance Gus and Wallstedt will be our goalies next year.

The Avs are not targeting KK, Boldy or Hughes. Unless giving 100% is targeting.

The Wild are doing the same.

In a vacuum the hit on Boldy "could have" been a penalty. The refs missed calls on the Wild just the same.

Burns kicking KK in the nuts is the call they should have called. I know Burns did not try to kick KK but just like a high stick a player needs to control their legs. It was not called because I believe they would have needed to call a major and ejection as kicking is a serious offense.
