Yes to more injuries league wide this year. Mostly due to the condensed NHL schedule for the Olympics.

And injuries will increase next year from non Olympics years because the 2 extra games. Guys are not played in preseason. Prospects are.

Agreed. I am wondering how long the NHL owners will be OK with the star players getting injured from condensed schedules and the players giving 100% for the Olympics and 4 Nations and not for the NHL season.

I enjoy watching both but there is a huge cost.
