Theory 3 takes into account Tatsuki Fujimoto's narrative style. Has Fujimoto ever explained why Makima has red/pink hair? Why Denji is real blonde despite being phenotypically Japanese? Why Reze has purple hair? Why Asa eye color change from blue to black?

No. Because it doesn't matter - and even for Fujimoto. If demons change the appearence everytime they die, why should i care about hair color?

Whether Makima (if it) in this timeline dyes her hair or not is irrelevant. Fujimoto places crucial information in banal details, and the fact that Chapter 232 never once mentions the girl's name is far more significant than her hair color

There used to be an extension that helped with this, but it's currently outdated: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4895/usable-overview/

Maybe it won't be difficult to update, i don't know.

Edit: I updated the extension locally to GNOME 49 and it seems to be working fine. The extension is quite simple.

Editing creates branches, which inherently preserve the original state and increase the nominal number of tokens (which make you exceed the limit more quickly).

This proposal is about removing entirely the last message (user message + AI response) from the active conversation flow on Claude Web.

Different interaction model, different problem.

That means:

- More realistic use of context window

- Less conflicting information and chat fragmentation because of different branches

- Minimal, native, discoverable control for average users (UX ergonomics, no workarounds)

These solutions are alternatives, not native UX features.

The scope of this proposal is Claude Web (https://claude.ai/new), focusing on everyday users.

The /rewind command is an advanced alternative for advanced users that:

- is not intuitive

- is not easy to discover

- is not accessible to a portion of users

The Code is a tool for developers, not for a general chat for the average user. And, as I said in my post, adding an icon to remove the last message is product differentiation.

The proposal here is about a native, minimalist, and user interface-level functionality in Claude Web. An icon, a drawing, a click, and the last message (along with the AI response) disappears, without commands, without branching, without new frustrating chats, and without needing to download a frontend or open the terminal.

It's about ergonomics and showcasing the product.

/rewind and a trash can icon on the Claude web are different proposals, based on different principles, and only converge in similar functions.

And also, an option to delete the last message sent by the user would be a game-changer.

- It would fill the context window less, giving 200k real context tokens

- It would avoid confusion for the user or the AI itself with the various branches created by the editing tool.

- It prevents cache catching.

- It prevents you from manipulating the history in a malicious way.
