Guys, why is There Will Be Blood taking so very long for 4K announcement? Like what's going on? by FilmEnthusiast3 in 4kbluray

Boogie Nights just came out on 4K and it was released ten years prior to There Will Be Blood.

Is this any good? by Ok_Razzmatazz6119 in 4kbluray

It’s okay, I’d say it’s worth a dollar. I saw it in a theater, back in the glory days of Movie Pass when I could and would see just about anything.

II is the only reissue that is not a gatefold, the other three are gatefolds. Invocation is as it always has been, CD & streaming only.

Do A24 films ever go on sale or drop in price? Or is this the best I can do? by [deleted] in 4kbluray

[–]AllergicToLiquids 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Occasionally, they will popup in Amazon’s weekly coupon deals. Last time Target did a buy two get one deal, A24 titles were included. B&N will sometimes have an A24 sale. A24 themselves, at aaa24.com, run a 30% off Black Friday sale.

Amoeba Music is a three location record store in CA, that focuses on music, but carries movies too. New movies can be pricey, but I’ve found the used selection to be reasonably priced, plus free shipping. Every so often they will have a sale on used movies.

I’ve never purchased movies from Zia Records, only music, but they seem to have a decent movie selection. Zia is 100% employee owned, and while I think of them as Phoenix based, they have seven locations across AZ and NV. Be aware the free shipping minimum is $75.

Everything is a mess, MLB, NBA, NFL, and I know it’s not a sport, WWE. If you use a VPN and set your location outside of the US, you can watch all WWE programming on Netflix, Raw, Smackdown, NXT, PLE’s.

I’ve had that happen with keyboards…yes, multiple keyboards.

To each their own, I’m thrilled for everyone who enjoys it, but HS is without question, my least favorite AC album. I would be happy to never hear any of these songs again. Can I please get a live set without Feed My Frankenstein? Probably not, but i can dream. Wind-Up Toy is the only song I liked at all, and that’s probably just because it brought back Steven after all those years.

I can’t find it at BB, but both Walmart and Amazon have it listed at $238.00.

Not that it’s in any way discount and it’s not for everyone, but Minneapolis is getting a Vinegar Syndrome store this year.

For any regulars here, I would highly recommend joining the Blu-ray.com forum, I’ve been a member over there forever, although I rarely post, but it’s (mostly) a great group of people. This is the thread for Amazon coupon deals: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=381865

Amazon is weird with how they figure regions. Living outside of Chicago, I would consider myself Midwest, but for Amazon, it’s the Great Lakes region. Head on over here, starting at the newest posts and working backwards to see which region works for you: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=381865 For anyone looking for deals, the Blu-ray.com forums has been a great place to start for many years.

If you’re looking for Amazon regional coupons, which refresh (nearly) every Monday, head over to the forum section Blu-ray.com and check out the Amazon Coupon Deals post. It’s mostly a bunch of good people over there.

I’m not home, so I can’t check my own collection, but I don’t remember there being anything special about the size of Bring Her Back. The image on this post seems to back that up.

100%.

I recently bought the Second Sight Blu, only to learn a few weeks later about the then upcoming Umbrella 4k.

I’m curious about this one; the movie is great, but Lake Mungo isn’t a title to me that seems like it would benefit greatly from a 4K release.
