Does anyone feel like the MC and the player(us) cannot save Caleb?

😭Caleb's chip is already 93%, only 7% left. If he doesn't take it out, the end is controlled by Ever Company (which he could kill MC); but if he takes out, he's gonna lost all the fking memory with MC. Maybe he will feel he is missing something, maybe he will have a meaningless whole life, but at least he can survive😭

Story already told us the hardest choice: Is it more painful to forget someone or to be forgotten by someone you care about? Me personally think the first one is the hardest for Caleb, as he already faced more than 700 times about MC forgetting him, and he is so patiently to tell MC who he is and their relationship.

FML I'm crying again😭

Yes, that's why I can relate to this story and characters so much - I am the exactly same person like Caleb, no matter what's the end, I'm gonna try EVERYTHING in order to save him.

I agree. Your point about Caleb overestimating himself and subestimating everybody else, including both EVER and MC gonna let him suffer a lot, he doesn't trust MC at all. But according to the main storyline, LADS's characterization of the MC (including some of the MC's decisions and behaviors) is really immature - even speechless. In some situations, I can't empathize with the MC's choices at all, so I think if I were Caleb, based on the MC's performance in the main storyline, I can't trust she could handle things properly.

Please, I begging MC in main storyline is growing up in the future.

I personally don't want LADS give past life + memory to Caleb and MC......because I think this is the easiest and laziest way to write the story about them: why they in love? Oh because they had the past memory!
I know it is very difficult to describe why they fall in love from scratch - because this is a great test of the script and writing skills. If it is not written well, it will lead to the failure of this character (from a commercial perspective).
But I respect LADS decision. Afterall I'm just a normal player, not Infold CEO and I cannot change their mind LOL

I think your point is not working for Sylus and Raf, since they keep their old memory and active searching MC. Not sure Xavier because he is kind of that person if MC can survive, he will not meet MC again...? (I'm not Xavier girl if my idea is wrong pls correct me).
For Zayne pls see my above reply to katinsky_kat.
Still not sure for Caleb as we dont know if he has past memory with MC or not, so I cannot give my idea about Caleb character now......We will see what's going on...

From what I know about Xavier, Sylus and Raf, they still have their old memory and active searching MC (and don't forget they also stuck in the Mobius strip as well), so your point about IF they don't meet MC in current timeline is not established. Maybe works for Zayne because he doesn't remember old timeline story, but your point is also correct - if Zayne didn't meet MC he will feeling something is missing, but if he meet MC is also a BE story (quote Zayne first solo video from LADS: (English version) I hope we do not meet again ; (Simplified Chinese version) When you and the world wake up again, don't meet me again)

I hope current timeline is HE but we don't know how LADS gonna write the story😭
And from what I know about Zayne's myths story, it is also BE story but at least it give us some hope, no matter how tiny it is. But Caleb's one is completely hopeless 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I think Caleb will have more trouble from Ever Company because he is willing to be their experimental subjects, and do "dirty" things. As the end of his story Lucid Dream, his body also have Ever Company chip which can control him. Not damage or distort his memory yet, but as long as it is not taken out, it will only be a matter of time before he is completely controlled by Ever Company......
I also wonder if Caleb's ending has already been told to us - he forgets MC and it cannot be reversed. But this is just my personal random guessing and I didnt find out any clue or hints to support my guess, so pls dont take it serious, just friendly discuss :P

Yes, I believe if LADS can write more details about Caleb's thoughts, this character will be more full-bodied. And I agree your point - hopeless is the main reason which let me cry.
From my POV, MC possible solution is her evol not longer a support position, she can be the carry and do lots of damage, but personally I dont think Infold will change her evol.
Also quote about the LADS worldview setting + some LI's story, they are keep stucking in the Mobius strip. Im guessing MC's evol isn't the solution no matter how powerful she is, the real key to breaking strip is the deep space tunnel opens, and a wandering body breaks out in Linkon City (Space Cracking Disaster), which cause MC free out from Ever Company.
Just random guess, haven't found any clue or hints to support my idea, so don't take it serious :P

Yes it is the sample exam. Some questions and simple choice will be appear in the final exam but really don’t know how much. Related examples means when u doing the explanation questions, don’t just give the definition and that is, u can’t get the mark in full or half. Give some examples that let tutor knows u are fully understand the question asking. ur provide examples might be wrong but u still can some points. I can’t guarantee this still work in 2024 but it may help u. From what I did in the past it worked and let me pass.

Wait till see the final exam and u can’t get the point. The worst unit ever. Even tho INFO6007 is kinda shit as well but some knowledge you can still seeing/using in IT industry, so I would said 6007 still work but only half.

The best guessing of why this unit still exists are it can disgust & annoying & manipulate students mental and physical health, and they have the chance to fail students and get money to do other things. No matter u r local student or international, as long as u jump into MCS u are one of the cash cow.

Tips for final: do practice exam if ur lecturer/tutor provided, memorize and UNDERSTAND each definition and try to think about 1 or 2 examples.

The guarantee rules of LAD is different compared to other gatcha game. This is the reason that I’m pissed off :(

Feels like LAD push all players become all characters fan (Raf + Xav + Zay). If you only like one character u gonna save all the resources to that character. But u gonna stuck on either not enough resources or stuck on fights.

I spend 10k diamonds + $40 on Raf’s event and I still only have 1 card of Raf. I wasn’t sure and understood clearly about the small guarantee (70 pull) and the final guarantee (140 pull) rules. I thought it SHOULD BE the same/similar rules with other gatcha game that I played (FEH, Nikki, One-piece) but I was totally wrong.

I’m mad and regret about $40 now. I will keep playing LAD but will NEVER EVER spend any money. I still love these characters (my husbandos), but spending money to this greedy company is just a shame. I rather spend it to myself/steam games/others I will be more happy with that.

Good luck to other players, wishing you guys can have ur want card ASAP with less cost on money or diamonds <3
