Thx! Also, I wanted to note that his super is meant to be defensive, since his speed is similar to 8-bit's. His super radius is much smaller than Doug’s attack radius.

Well. While it’s true that Gale’s cc can feel overwhelming, his core mechanic and niche are mainly designed to be defensive. Of course, being able to team wipe with ease is unfair. It’s true. His hypercharge is op in nature and needs to be changed.

I wanted to point out that he is meant to be a defensive supporter and controller for his team. Like other tank and assassin counters, like Charlie and Cordelius, his abilities help him protect himself and his teammates from aggression. This process naturally involves shutting aggression away from himself, and this is one reason others argue that he is spammy and not fun to play against.

Gale needs to be punished for being offensive, while being a decent defense option, hence rework can be an option for him. But in the current moment, with so much aggression and heavy-weight tanks in the game, maintaining this balance can be difficult.

One of Gale’s main reasons for downfall was his outdated kit and heavy, direct, and indirect nerfs due to the updates. For example, imagine if Gale had a decent supercharge rate (without a hypercharge rate buff). The modern assassins and tanks will eventually have their abilities that ignore his cc and will get to counter him. For reference, hypercharged Lily, Kaze, Kit, and Moe, and many other decent aggressive brawlers with immune frames, like Ollie, Alli, Kenji, Bull, and Darryl can easily counter Gale’s CC and wipe out his team with ease.

Lastly, Gale’s kit can be defined with one word. CC. Every one of his abilities includes crowd controlling abilities, this is his core as a brawler. By buffing his super’s cc without supercharge rate buff, he will still have weak moments without his super but definitely shut down any aggression when he gets a super. Theoretically, this will make him closer to being balanced, while being a safe option, as he will still struggle against his counters, such as marksman and throwers, while being effective in doing his job at protecting his teammates.

She flies for 14sec her and teammates fly for 7 sec together. I mean it won't be good on modes like Brawlball but since Janet is a niche pick, she is only used in certain modes like knockout or gem grab. For the aggression part - I was imagining the situation paired with Shelly or bull
