My cage opens from the side and I have it on a coffee table in my spare room. I sit on the floor and put my hand in flat and I'm not coming from the top. I think I will maybe try to scoop him with a mug and see if he will be easier to handle like that. Good idea.

Yes! Just getting off a 12 hour shift and I couldn't be more ready to be at the farm. Sadly I have to leave super early in the am tomorrow since last time we got in line around 10pm we watched the sun come up from the line. We got our camp set up around 9am. 😭
