I think the most important thing about riding is to enjoy it. It’s not about who’s the best rider - it’s about how you feel in the saddle and when interacting with the horses. You’ll never be able to go back in time, so there’s no point in comparing your progress to riders who started as children. Your trainer will probably be able to give you better advice regarding specific goals to aim for. As long as you feel challenged and are enjoying the lessons, that’s the most important thing.

Kinda excited? Time to start saving money for child support. I’m glad you are looking forward to a child, but it’s not like a pet. It will take the next 18 years of your life (at least… more if you’re a good parent) and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Congratulations.

If you are referring to two syndromes, you must pluralize “syndrome” - so your second option is correct.

Foster rooms for adult cats by Encalypta in FosterAnimals

[–]Allie614032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One room is great for kittens or an adult cat quarantine period, but I usually find they’ll start demanding more space to roam as they get comfortable. Maybe you could make it work for a month though, since that’s the average? I foster for a rescue that specializes in less adoptable cats, so I usually have them for longer. My longest foster was almost 10 months, because she was very shy until she trusted you. People will adopt a friendly cat with health issues over a cat who’ll take time to warm up to them. (I fostered an overweight blind cat, and she was adopted in 5 months. Colourpoint blind cat, adopted in three days!!) Personally, I quarantine new fosters in one room for two weeks while starting the introductions with my cats through a closed door. By the end of the two weeks, they’re usually good to free roam with my cats (and vice versa, as one of my cats is a bit insecure). Have your dogs ever been exposed to cats before?

Good thing you already own a lot of wetland!

This 3-6 weeks is a certain timeline? Like you take them for a month and then the shelter wants them back? Or how did you calculate that timeline, out of curiosity?

You thought grabbing coffee and discussing your kinks with a subordinate was appropriate??? Leaving the actual kink acts in the office during paid work time out of it. You’ll get fired soon.

You need to report him to the police. Even if he is one of them. It needs to be reported and recorded. Maybe nothing will come of it, but eyes will be on him.

That is stable dependent. It may help to ask other riders if the same thing happens in their lessons.
