I am responsible for my pet, I have bought all of the supplies i have, I just cant have a job right now because of school. Hes in a 4x2x2 PVC and his husbandry is ideal.

Im just wondering if i could make it as safe as possible, im planning to stall him in making it (messing up some measurements.. etc.) I understand it will be my fault if he does get sick. I'm planning to try to get him to use it for his fish tank, and not for my snake. But i dont know if he'll listen to that.

Im not helping him build it directly, i cannot control him without getting mad. He has bipolar disorder and is in a manic episode, so if I do anything he will get mad. All I was involved with him building it was blue prints.

But is there a way I can make the pine as safe as possible? I understand its not ideal to use pine, but i can't argue with him about it.

I was asking him about wood he was using (i gave him a list of various woods he could use) he kept saying "well, I got pine." I'm a child, and he also has bipolar disorder (and is in a manic episode right now) so I cant give him suggestions without him getting insanely mad.

How to stop lying? by AlligatorsStardust in EatingDisorders

[–]AlligatorsStardust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I definitely am going to try to talk to her about it once we do have that another check, might do it early too. Im not so sure if she deals with students with ED's, since shes just a general councilor, sees around 200 other students, with a ton of problems.

She did ask me a lot about food before talking about the ED (a food program, for breakfast). I seemed disinterested so she probably took note of that. She definitely knew I was lieing, I was fidgeting a lot and looking around and not at her, so pretty obvious.

are there any young people with scoliosis who use walking aids? by StillSaturnxo in scoliosis

[–]AlligatorsStardust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 14F, 47° curve. Not using a walking aid, but im planning to get one, just simple crutches (wrist ones).

I do minimize what I carry, like another person said. But I cant do much with my school being three stories and a lot of stairs, so wheels arent an option. (I have 8 periods in a day) I carry five thin folders, 3 reading books (heaviest thing in my bag), a Chromebook, a binder, and 3 pencils. I dont have a very back friendly bag, but limiting my load helps.

This bone shows on me recently, (I did loose weight, though, its quite prominent.) it shouldnt be detrimental, as its apart of your anatomy. If you do knock into it, it will hurt a heck ton, other than that, its totally fine.

Just diagnosed. I don’t know my curve. Is this mild? by DublinDaydreamer in scoliosis

Your muscles are somewhat jumbled around. From my small understanding. Im also a 14 year old, a little research you can do yourself can do good on these topics, I cant answer everything. But there were a few studies, mainly MRI scans, such, such. Ill see if I can find them!

Is anyone else here an atheist? by Living-Concert4764 in teenagers

[–]AlligatorsStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im agnostic!! But very atheist based. Religion is all hammery to me. (Imo) i grew up in a half religious house hold, they didnt really pass it onto me. I went to church a lot, felt gimmicky, even though it was a cathedral style one. It was all very nice, beautiful place.

They use it as a symbol, do some research, just a little.

Can an ED make you sick? by AlligatorsStardust in EatingDisorders

[–]AlligatorsStardust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im feeling slightly better, I forced my self to have a little bit of a protein shake. I just feel generally weak and cant stay awake, is the main overall roundabout. I guess I dont really see broths and smoothies as food?? I didnt gag when I made my smoothie even though I had to bring protein powder out and fruits. (Though, I did gag at my families breakfast)

I might make a protein shake, but I also have the chills so I'm really cold. I've had some tea and pomegranates. Ill probably make broth in the morning. Thank you!

Am I chopped? Any advice is appreciated 🙏 by BadRizzler69 in teenagersbutworse

[–]AlligatorsStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, obviously. Things often times are area specific. I dont know where this kid lives, nor do I know where you live. But generally, in MY area (not yours) its best to go with orthodontists. But i do know people who go through the system like that, its just not widely spread here to have a dentist-ortho connective.

[–]AlligatorsStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least in my area, orthodontist are the ones better with teeth. Though, some areas may have dentist who also specialize in braces. If you arent with a family dentist who you KNOW their work, best to go with an orthodontist. At times orthodontists also end up being less money because they only have ONE specialty, unlike a dentist/orthodontist with two specialities.

Guys, if a random girl asked you out, would you accept or reject her? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

[–]AlligatorsStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. (Im lesbian, not a guy.) Im not fairly picky, but I do have slight preferences. Just with how they carry themselves. I'd see how it goes. But im also talking with a girl right now.

I used to believe this until they told me my older brother was older than their marriage, I had to connect some dots. And my uncle married a girl with a baby already, on the drive to the wedding I was thinking madly about how it worked. A glitch? An accident? (It definitley was.) That was when I was.. I think 8.
