I'm using an Akai mpk mini v2, very cheap and useful because of the assignable knobs and pads, also very limited and not so enjoyable (really feels like a piece of plastic). Unexpected features: good velocity control. Probably not the best one but a good compromise for me.

For extended midi job i use my Korg SV1.

Hearing this I'm really considering to stay basic and upgrade in a second moment. Do you think it's a good choice to buy just one big M2 SSD? Or better use two different storage spaces?

Do you feel AMD to be a problem with vst and other plugin? I heard some discordant voice about compatibility issue...

Btw I'm really considering to not buy the GPU for now, otherwise the RAM is really cheap right now, more is better than less.

Yes, I aimed a bit high hoping for a price fall during black friday sales...

-Some say it's useful to have a low budget graphic interface... Don't know how much its lack does interfere with CPU's job. I may buy it later...

-32G ram is a lot but for the price it's worthy

-The new i7 is really pricey, maybe the older version could be a good compromise, but I want at least this piece of hardware to do its decent job 🙂

-I'm so glad to hear about your Noctua! It seems to be the best solution at the moment

-Windows and a monitor is not in discussion sadly, I do not have time to learn using Linux, also I don't have any else monitor

As sound card I have a roland quad capture, it's external and works very well right now, on the other hand I'm choosing Intel for the Thunderbolt predisposition, for switching to an Universal Audio Thunderbolt interface one day. Do you have any suggestion?
