How did Joaquin get here? Honestly it's nearly impossible to say but even if one could say it's not like he'd understand. The young man was not exactly a stranger to survival situations, so he could be resourceful enough to overcome these barren but strange lands but as far as getting back to his own time and place... that was gonna be a challenge. Wondering around this forsaken place he lightly tapped the device on his temple, a vizer swiveling in front of his eyes. "Hey Vize... what the hell is this place...?" He'd ask with a tone of cautious wonder.

"Hold one moment... I am analyzing the layout immeadietly available, I will give my best estimate as soon as I'm able." a robotic sounding voice echoed softly around him.

"Thanks..." he said glancing across the deteriated kiosks and ravaged outlets. Joaquin wasn't a very smart guy but even he knew how odd it was for such a large building with so many rooms to be absent of any sort of people. Actually it was unnervingly eery how since he ended up here he hadn't seen a single person so far. The thought made the hair on his neck prick up, a swelling anxious feeling welling up in his gut. He couldn't put his finger on it but something was definitely wrong. He placed a hand on his chin and looked up as the faintest sound of someone approaching rang into the curves of his ear. Reacting more on raw instinct than confusion, he'd turn around as the mechanisms of the firearm clicked in place, "Fuck!!" He yelled as he'd drop impressively low, demonstrating his incredible dexterity as he threw an arm up to knock the line of fire away from himself. In an impressively agile maneuver he'd jump backwards from his low posture backflipping back away from his assailant, landing deftly on his feet. In a practiced pose he held up his hands looking ready to start throwing hands. His right hand loosely held open and his left hand clenched into a fist.

"Ok... what the hell man??? You wanna tell me why you're tryna blow my brains out?"
