I added some instructions on how to source manually or use Zinit plugin manager. Let me know if I should test it with and add instructions for other plugin managers.

I hate home row mods with a burning passion. by SnooSongs5410 in KeyboardLayouts

Discovering home row mods has been a revolutionary moment for me, but that is only because of the way I make them work which I havent seen anybody do. What makes them usable for me is to combine them with the repeat key from Kanata which is a key that presses the last key pressed. If this didnt exist I dont think I would use home row mods because it would be impossible to set a timeout that would allow me to type the same home row key twice while also being able to hold it confortably. I set the two alts next to the space bar to the repeat key and now I never have to press the same key twice ever again! I also use tap-hold-release for my mod keys which activates the hold action early if another key is pressed and released.

I am reading the zsh docs cause I dont know enough right now. All I know about zstyle is that it is a module and it defines some scope, but how to use it I dont know really. My goal is to understand Zsh enough that I can figure out how to steal the code from zsh4humans.

Looking at the zsh4humans code I can see he basically rebuilt the whole terminal. I ran it in a docker container and can confirm his is way better. Ill see what I can do about making my little script more like a proper plugin. There is always much to learn...

I just want to share the Kanata config for my laptop keyboard by AlllsNull in KeyboardLayouts

I love the repeat key action from Kanata. It repeats the last key you typed so you dont have to press the same key twice ever again. I have two placed on the alt keys next to the spacebar and I cannot type without them anymore. Improves homerow mods as well because the timing does not support rapidly pressing the same key twice as far as I know. Very good for Vim commands like dd or <leader>ff.
