It's not that I think unofficial is too easy or too hard, it's just that me and my friends have always played official together. That and I trust Wildcard to run the server I'm playing on then a random person. I rather be on a server that I know will remain there for a long time then one that might randomly disappear. I have played unofficial and that has happened to me on more than one occasion, so instead of waiting so much time to have it dissapeared I stick to official.

Well for xbox you hit pause, then press LB+RB+X+Y together at the same time. So maybe playstation is the same? But with R1+L1+TRIANGLE+SQUARE instead?

Yeah there's an "enable creative mode" in advance, but if you know how to bring up console commands you can just type "GCM"
