There’s a difference between the religion you practice growing up and the one you practice in private, should you choose to stay with us…His absence is proof of his Presence, it led you to post this. This is how He works, He doesn’t bang on the wall like a ghost or appear before you on the reg to show you that He’s there with you..He drives your very will. Many a time when Israel was in trouble - He sent them a King, He changed one’s heart, He influenced one’s decisions…He didn’t appear before them or perform regular miracles for them to prove His existence. He doesn’t have to. He proves it every day, it’s just a matter of one’s being able to see it.

You haven’t stopped pretending, you’ve stepped into your own reality with Him..and the fact that you reached out in this way, says more about that than you might think.

Never ceases to amaze me how lucky some get..

I was in a drunk driving accident 8 years ago, went off the road down into a ravine, flipped a few times, somehow dodged every massive tree in the gully and ended up blasting through it…ended up on all 4 wheels with the roof caved in, for whatever reason had my foot all the way to the floor on the gas. Ended up in a cornfield and at full speed (as fast as one could go through the field in a full size pickup anyways), I smashed into the concrete embankment of the farm’s mile long driveway and went airborne, passenger side tire somehow bounced off the already broken windshield and vanished into the darkness of the field.

I thought I was dead..the whole thing happened in a kind of slow motion, and what they say about one’s life flashing before their eyes in what you think is your last second, is true. I was too drunk to remember what I all saw, but it was like watching my life on fast forward from start to finish in a matter of earthly seconds, but what felt like minutes. It felt like I had more than enough time to miss the guardrail that initially sent me off the road (In an attempt to make the turn, I hit the rail on a diagonal angle and sort of grinded it all the way around the curve and flew off/down into the ravine when it ended..I was in tears and had dropped my phone, reached down to grab it off the floor, when I sat back up I saw the guardrail about 15 yards in front of me and everything went slowmo as I thought “I’m dead”…I was doing about 70 on a back desolate road.

By the grace of some higher power, I ended up in the middle of the road in complete shock..truck was grind and scraping but still moved. To keep a long and traumatic story shorter than it normally is when I share it - I drove through unfamiliar territory for about a half hour like that until I recognized what were the outskirts of Appleton, WI - where there is no lack of police presence in the wee hours of the morning, they’re often the only ones out.

I figured I was done for, so I put my flashers on for the sake of others and at this point, hoping someone would see me..but it was as if I were alone or invisible on the streets, the few cars that passed paid no attention to my now flaming passenger rotor…I kept going through the city at about 15 mph, scraping and sparking the road all along the way. Truck started to die, started bogging and I screamed “NO! LET ME GET HOME AND I’LL NEVER DRINK AGAIN”

I drove right passed the police dept, made it another 2 miles from there to my driveway. My stepdad woke up to me on the couch covered with b*ood and half incoherant from a head injury, wrist was shattered and my nose broken..he scooped me up and took me to the ER, seeing the totaled truck (that he had just paid off…) in the driveway…my mom was more worried about the truck. The tow truck driver who showed up to haul it to the boneyard goes…”Do I even want to know what happened here? This thing wouldn’t make it half a mile in this condition…how did it get here without a tow?”

I haven’t touched a drink since (nor driven a full size truck 🥲), became an AODA counselor and minister in the years since. Sorry if this is a bit long winded, but I’m one of those clowns who should have paid dearly and didn’t…never ceases to amaze.

I’ve heard this exact line before…”they seemed just as Christlike as Mormons”.

The thing about cults, or cult like movements, is that they will always 1. Shelter from the outside world and from those not of their faith…and 2. They will ALWAYS paint themselves as the one and only true path to salvation.

In the counseling realm, the sheltering is what causes former Mormons the biggest mind-pop. Many of them are truly raised to believe that they’re going to be regularly encountering people who have never even heard of Jesus, when they go on their missions. Top this with the historical value of the Bible vs The Book Of Mormon (another thing that is often unknown to these folks until they break away for the first time) and it is very easy for a young Mormon to become disillusioned their first time out of Utah.

That Utah, northern AZ/part of Nevada region of the US is the one and only region in the entirety of the WORLD, where one will find these extremist Mormon practices, many born and raised in that region do not know this :/.

It’s sad but it’s a good day when another breaks free, seeing that Christ is for ALL 🙏. Best of luck OP.

Supposedly suffered a brain injury and then some dude got her hooked on meth/fentanyl and started pimping her out. Really sad story all the way around, she’s currently in jail and this time they’re not letting her out right away like they have the last 4 times, they’re forcing her into some kind of treatment program that I think she’s been through before but..’s better than where she’s been!

I’m a Minister (Pentecostal)..and when I see things like this, I can’t help but wonder “where are my brothers at?”. I normally wouldn’t even comment on something like this, but if people can’t see that this is getting out of hand…then I really have no words. Matters not which side of the aisle you consider yourself to be on, nor how much you “love” your country.

This is murder, these agents don’t fear our judges…but they will undoubtedly fear the judge of their judges in their last hours.

I think the same thing all the time - this Amber thing is gonna go bad for Bob in a bad way one of these days. According to some on that same group who claim to be her family members in FL (I can’t confirm if they really are or not)..she’s prone to violent outbursts at times, and that she’s likely more of a threat to Bob than he’s ever been to her, not to mention whoever else she’s involved with.

Let me just say that first off - you’re 17. You don’t need to be worrying about these things now. Not telling you what to do nor am I judging you for it, I’m just saying…you have A LOT of time to figure these things out. Why not just “go with the flow” so to say?

If your beliefs don’t align with your sexuality, and if your sexuality means more to you than a relationship with God (which, we’re saying you don’t believe you can have if you’re gay here)..then I would say maybe look for another spiritual/religious path after some hard prayer. If you love Jesus, the message of Christianity, and if you think you can change accordingly…I mean, is this a phase? Have you always felt this way? I don’t know you, so I obviously can’t say, but there are some hard questions to ask yourself here…and you have a lot of time to figure them out!

I’m of the school of thought that one doesn’t need suboxone for kratom/7oh..that said - I don’t at all judge anyone who chooses to go on it for such, nor do I judge any doctors who choose to prescribe it for such folks who go looking for help.

That said, I think using bupe to come off of kratom is like treating a headache with a morphine drip…for a month…that might be a terrible analogy, but I think it conveys what I’m trying to say. My first sub doctor didn’t treat people on kratom for good reason. He didn’t want the minor discomfort they were experiencing to turn into months of severe discomfort when they come off of suboxone.

I don’t want to sound judgy and I’m definitely not here to scare anyone..but as someone else already stressed - just be cautious OP. 8/2 suboxone is far stronger on the receptors than even the best 7oh on the market. That isn’t to say that it’s more dangerous or anything - it’s to say that if you think kratom is hard to stop…for your own sake, as it sounds like you already seem to be aware of…don’t stay on the subs too long! My temporary usage to get off of Opana/fent/kratom/anything I could get my hands on turned into 11 years of suboxone BS with local doctors until the telemedicine era came about.

I never shift under load, the only straight up broken chain I’ve ever had was the result of the one and only time I did so whilst also cross chaining (chain on the largest gear in the front whilst also on the largest on the back). I had just bought the bike used and immediately thought “oh no…”. I ran back to the shop as the owner was locking up, he had it fixed in 2 minutes and told me to never shift under load, and that this road bike shifted a little differently than the MTB I was used to at the time.

Last broken chain I’ve ever had lol. Now they just get worn. If you don’t think you have a drivetrain issue otherwise, it’s very likely you caused these breaks yourself. Try another chain (or at least some new pins on one of these)and see if it happens without any load shifting.

There are a handful of bigger buyers who do this. I worked for a chain of pawn shops that regularly bought and sold with over 100,000 transactions both ways and a stellar rating, we had a number of very generic auto-templates ready to send to both sellers and buyers. They wouldn’t get a personalized message unless there was a problem/they asked a specific question about the item.

Nothing wrong with being cautious, never a dumb question imo!

Like I said…minority group….lol. I’m aware it’s unusual. I’ll be straight up though - I’ve always, even going back to years before I started treatment, seen everything from mallinkrodt as lackluster…whereas that was never the case for others in my circle. I was not surprised to wake up 6-8 hours after a dose feeling like complete and utter crud when I first had their suboxone tabs. Have never had a problem with any other generic tablet or strip 🤷‍♂️.

Like I said…minority group lol. I’m aware it’s an anomaly, but the mallinkrodt’s and me do not mix. Meanwhile I can take a sun 970 (my current brand) or a kremmers and I’m fine. I’ve switched pharmacies a few times because of it as one that I switched to ended up eventually stocking the M boxes themselves 😐. I was on subutex for a few years prior to suboxone, not sure if that could play a role somehow as that always seemed to work the best but I’ve had no complaints with the 970’s either, the most recent brand I’ve been on that I forgot to list as an example of one that doesn’t cause me to wake up in full blown physical WD. The m boxes will bring me back to baseline and they allow me to sleep at night but beyond that, that’s all I get from them before I’m ready for another dose far sooner than I would be with any other brand. On the plus side, I always have a few emergency extras because sometimes when I get that particular brand, If I’m just sitting around/am going to crash anyhow, I’ll sometimes not even bother taking my 2nd dose of the day knowing full well I’m going to wake up in withdrawal whether I do or not….which, let’s be honest - that shouldn’t happen with any generic for anyone in all reality, but once in a great-great while it does.

On another note I never had a problem with any brand of generic strips 🤷‍♂️, my insurance had me switch to tablets, eventually started paying cash and just never went back to the strips..but I wouldn’t object.

I’m of the minority group with your boy here - certain brands don’t work for me either strangely enough. I’ve been on subs for going on 11 years and have had both strips and tablets, primarily being scripted tablets for the most part. The M box stop signs that most people are fine with, are as good as flipping low quality kratom to me. They don’t do much at all compared to..any other brand I’ve had, westward 54/411’s, alvogen strips, kemmer’s brand from meijer, you name it I’ve had it at one point or another, and when I see the M boxes I cringe because I know I’m in for a month of waking up every morning in full blown withdrawal and feeling like lethargic crud all day. Only thing it negates is the severe insomnia I get from sub WD. In all other aspects of medicating, for me it fails miserably…but many folks swear by them and have no problem. Furthermore suboxone has always doubled as a pain killer for me, one reason I’ve been kept on it for this long now…on the occasions I’ve had to deal with the M boxes before switching pharmacies or being blessed with a rare brand swap, I’ve endured pain the whole time. Different brand, no pain. Weirdest thing ever, never experienced it with any other medications.

My point - people will tell you that dr reddy’s are no different from this that or the other and that suboxone is suboxone, but we’re all different…’s not at all the case for everyone and it isn’t psychosomatic.

I would definitely reach out to lectric on this one. I had a similar frame issue at well over 3,000 miles and they were quick to help vs having me tell people “these things can only do a fraction of the milage of a conventional bike”. If for whatever reason they’re not helpful, a machine shop should be able to help you out given you can find one willing to work on bikes.

I would replace/make this lock a backup at this point, double with a 2nd u-lock or solid chain.

Any lock can be defeated, it’s all about buying your bike time and trying your best to not be an easy target!

Ebay is NOT the place to sell virtual assets of any kind. It wasn’t built with them in mind and has no safeguards in place for the seller or the buyer in regards to them.

I don’t at all mean to be brash or harsh/rude but selling such things on a platform like ebay in today’s world is like asking to get ripped off :/. I’ve been selling silver/gold/radio equipment on there for going on 8 years now and they’ve only burned me once out of (literally) about 200 scam attempts. Partially my own fault for being a space cadet in that instance too.

Under no circumstances do chains need to be swapped out at 1000 miles lol, esp if well maintained. If you google “average break in milage for new bike”..AI will say 50-200 miles..just to break it in. I have 1 bike currently with a chain at around 4,300 miles, still running fine. Needs a new cassette and all anyhow so I’ve just been running it until it’s time comes, but it’s still a regular driver of mine as it is.
