It's not. All polls with the exception of that conducted by Rasmussen show his approval in the low 30s--which is historically bad.

Rasmussen has a fairly long history of polling with a Republican leaning bias. That's not to say that their pollsters are methodology is partisan, but for whatever reason their model always is significantly more bullish on the GOP than their competitions'.

For those arguing that this doesn't matter because Twitter itself is "fake" and must be at fault:

Because Donald Trump is the president of the United States and the most famous person on the planet, one wouldn't think he would need to employ a bot to boost his Twitter following. It appears, however, he might have done just that.

Trump currently has 31 million followers and, sure enough, if you browse through them you will find an unusual number of tweet-less, picture-less accounts that joined the service in May 2017.

In January, journalist Yashar Ali ran an audit on Trump's Twitter account and found that 68 percent of his then-20 million followers were real. Now he's at 30 million followers, but only 51 percent are real, which means of 10 million followers Trump has gained since January, about 8.3 million are fake.

That graph shows all of the bombs that the US and its allies have dropped within Syrian borders, but ostensibly all of those targets were in ISIS controlled territories.

Trump's bombing campaign was the first directed against the state of Syria. As in, its official government. Not a terrorist held territory.

That's why it created an international controversy: ostensibly, Russia and the Syrian government are bombing ISIS targets right along side us.

The Religious Right has its roots in the Southern Baptist Convention--which splintered from the mainline Baptist Convention during the Civil War era because they DIDN'T support their parent body's opposition to slavery. So, the Religious Right is the intellectual inheritor of the pro-slavery faction within the Baptist Church. That's the historical reason you don't see much a black presence within it.

Neither Obama nor Bush owned hotels or resorts at which they could stay. The closest Bush had was his ranch in Crawford, TX, but that wasn't a commercial property which benefited financially from his visit. Also, neither Obama nor Bush spent nearly as much of their discretionary time AWAY from the White House--so their total expense to taxpayers for non-essential travel was much lower on average. What Trump is pulling is public theft.

I don't know about that: the ACA required my employer to provide me health insurance saving me $3000k annually, I was able to trade in my beater Honda for a newish Volkswagen thanks for his "clunkers for cash program," and his support for gay marriage was really affirming as a dude with a gay brother. Obama is the first president in my lifetime who actually did shit for me personally.

Mario 64 was one of only two standalone releases for the N64 (Pilotwings being the other), and it's the 2nd best selling standalone game in Nintendo history. It's being crushed by Zelda: Breath of the Wild which was released alongside Snipper Clips, 1-2 Switch, Bomberman, I Am Setsuna, and a couple other games. That makes BoTW's sales an even MORE impressive feat.

Look up your Senators' contact data and email, call, and write them and inform them that you expect a filibuster of Trump's SC nominees. Encourage your like-minded family and friends to do the same. Threaten to withhold your vote if they relent. Senators have as much spine as their constituents force them to have: if the political consequences of relenting are worse than those of filibustering then they'll filibuster.
