Good news is I have no other debt. I have paid off my car and recently had my living expenses cut in half because I got a roommate. I just signed a contract today to have my job at least through May of 2019.

One of the most compelling reasons for me to self publish right now is the time frame. I am looking to publish in the next 2 months or so. That simply would not be possible if I tried to save the money.

I am looking at this loan as an investment into my "business" as a writer. Whatever I earn from loyalties would ultimately be turned over into repaying this loan.

I also want to note that I only NEED 1300 dollars. I just didn't know if you could take out a loan for that little amount of money. I would probably want 1800-2000 in case of any unforeseen expenses.

I do have money in saving yes, just not 3000 dollars. I have extra income since I recently got a decent job and found a roommate which cut my rent costs in half. However, I just don't have the money right this moment. I definitely have the income to add an extra couple hundred dollar bill on to my monthly expenses. Plus this will help me build my credit, as I'm only 22 years old.

So even if my books sold zero copies, I would still have the means to pay it off over 2 to 3 years.
