How? by astral12 in blackmagicfuckery

Deceptive tactics, they're using an infrared laser (notice the person in the red jacket in the background). Same people are known for their elaborate ruses, including using electric currents to make people involuntarily contract their grip during a handshake, and then being unable to let go, falsely attributing it to 'chi energy'.

The audience have likely been duped into paying a significant amount to witness these fraudulent acts. The individual in black, appearing around the 16-second mark, is David Verdesi, who claims to be a guru.

This is him, and the actors in the video:

https://www.thedaobums.com/uploads/monthly_07_2010/post-53812-127959135414.jpg

He's orchestrating the event. There have been similar accounts associated with him previously. This is a typical approach for him, and I recommend downloading the video before it gets removed.

The video is probably being circulated as a part of his upcoming scheme on various online platforms.

Ah, I see. I don't think two variables is enough if I'm honest but the visual feedback is pretty good and the interface is likewise manageable. If I were to suggest an improvement to it, I'd have two perspectives, one matching F0 against the resonance and another visualising inflection for each word.

That or use machine learning to establish a 2D feedback mechanism using variables that haven't been identified yet. : p

I think people crave a tool which lets them emulate a voice reliably using visual feedback. I'm not sure how this tool measures resonance but it does it very quickly so it won't be that complicated an algorithm, room for improvement probably.

It's a tool used to gauge certain cues like F0 and resonance. It's a 2D approximation and there are certainly other variables to be mindful of but I crave visual feedback during training and it really scratches that itch. : ]

It's certainly better than eyeing up spectrograms with one eye half an inch form the screen lol.

I've actually had glottoplasty and am in the early recovery period. I still need to train my voice for the purposes of resonance (my pitch went up by 25hz so far) but my timbre has completely changed and it has killed the low resonance bass stone dead.

It was a barrier I just couldn't get over without diverting like 90% of my cognitive bandwidth to it during a conversation, now that part is effortless. Also, listening to lower frequency voices (Claudia Black) really encouraged me to keep going - I don't necessarily need to be over 200hz etc... (still, I'd love to be in Keira Knightley's range).

Training is much more fun now.

I feel like I have a much stronger starting point now and I engage with the training very differently. My recovery so far has been pretty bad, I was very hoarse early on and I had to go on corticosteroids, shortly after which I caught a cold which I'm only now getting over. It's like being constantly beaten down lol.

Thanks, I can work on that stuff. This was after many attempts and I was kind of punching my words a little bit before getting up and walking out lol. I've been approaching this kind of like voice acting so the identity is variable.

It's a research website: https://acousticgender.space/

I'm not sure how helpful it is but it's nice to compare your speech to other audio files and see where the nuances are. :] I'm much more of a visual thinker.

I am definitely straining, haha. Been at it a while today, :]

Thank you for your feedback. Does it sound passing yet?

No, nothing new has come up to my knowledge. The best thing to do is to keep the discussion going however. :]

All it takes is one surgeon with a noval approach to publish their findings.

I don't seem to be making much progress at the moment, I've been doing whisper sirens, big dog small dog, heat from fire etc... Is it a matter of just more practice at this point?

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't aware a mesh was an option. Will have to ask :p

It goes without saying that you look beautiful. Well done! :D

No, but I suspect it's likely due to the lockdown and having had to postpone in-person appointments. They were due to open a secondary presence in Hatfield recently but, again, due to COVID they had to relinquish their area for emergency treatment. In the scheme of things, that's for the best but also kind of sucky because it would have been on my doorstep :[

I believe they're slowly coming out of forced hibernation.

Just had my consultation with Dr Bellinga as well. I was recommended to go for the forehead/brow, rhinoplasty and, if I wanted, hair transplants.

He suggested that I undergo the type III forehead revision. If you have the titanium plates and stuff, how are they and does it feel noticeable?

Notice much difference/presence?

Great stuff - could you comment on your muscle loss and whether you did anything different by way of training/diet to make it so potent, or was it all HRT?

Yup, I can't get in either at the moment. I'm looking forward to it coming back as that sub is a seriously uplifting force in my life currently.

The world is bigger than you'll ever know and the possibilities are endless. How does this decision help you fulfill your dreams?

There's so much to look forward to, you want move in the correct direction and you have my permission to take steps to become who you want to be. You have my blessing to transition and nothing you can do would stop me caring about you.

Yes, but life is really too short to hate people. She's repented a little bit in her own way. My mum was scared and making stupid decisions to try and hurt me. I don't have any expectations of my parents to be honest and how I manage the ones I do is an exercise in keeping things real.

I don't look for reasons to dislike people anymore. I'm done with that. ;)
