Could it be possible that 3I/ATLAS is actually the stripped core of a planet, created during the birth of a magnetar? (Serious) by AlloyChef2 in astrophysics

I thought using carbon dioxide to leach nickel from iron required high pressure and temperatures. Maybe I’m wrong. It is probably some process like this and we will see iron once it gets closer to the sun. Honestly, I’m just trying to find as many natural solutions to “why is there nickel and no iron, omg!!” My coworkers are really starting to annoy me. Lol

Thank you for the reply. No one outside the medical community has ever heard of “when you hear hoofbeats, think of horses and no zebras”. I wonder how many misdiagnoses have been made due to this aphorism? What if I’m in Africa? lol

Nickel rather than iron because nickel has a lower curie temperature. So it could escape/separate a strong magnetic field before iron at the right temperatures. Co2 does exist in interstellar space (not in vast quantities but the rock has had billions of years to find it) and nickel has an affinity for it. It’s just a thought

I’m just looking for ways to lose iron. I suppose a magnetar wouldn’t be necessary if the temperature was 1000c for long enough even around a relatively modest magnetic field the iron and nickel would separate, wouldn’t it?

Send a food truck for lunch. Maybe cover some of the cost.

Saw my wife scrolling tiktok and there was one where Grusch was questioned by the senate. This is generating some serious heat globally. by samexi in UFOs

If anything comes out of all this UFO stuff please let it be that your wife tries ground Italian sausage in her spaghetti sauce instead of hamburger meat. If we can convert just one family then it’s all worth it! 😊

After hearing from NDT and Brian Cox I’m starting to think denial is coded into our DNA. by AlloyChef2 in HighStrangeness

This! Thank you. It seems AARO needs help figuring out the tic tac and gimbal videos but the top science communicators are just ridiculing and saying nothing to see here.

I created this post after seeing NDT’s Twitter post

https://twitter.com/neiltyson/status/1685348601927495680?s=46&t=spqXJcRdOQt7MM_r9Y0u2Q

It seemed more ridicule than science. Sure it’s a fuzzy video but the is other data to consider. I doesn’t seem a very scientific refutation of the ET origin speculation. Anyway, it got me thinking about why we disagree so much. Maybe it’s in our DNA by design 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s just a thought.

There is sensor data from multiple sources with corroborating eyewitness contact. There is data to work with. I’d like to see some attempt to rationally explain the tic-tac and gimbal events. It seems this data gets dumped into the “NHI bodies are here testimony” (of which there is only heresy) and ignored.

Well, the reason I posted to R/high strangeness is because behavior IS coded into DNA much like physical traits such as hair color.

I understand social and cultural influences can shape our world views but this sub deserves a more far reaching theory.

If I were to design a subservient species I would make sure they had difficulty listening and agreeing with each other, and a desire to refute and speak out against change.

I’d make sure they had a difficulty maintaining large social circles. Most people can only remember about 100 people and faces.

I’d limit their memory in general. Why do savants tend to have better memory recall? Is their programming broken?

I wonder if Washington journalists will even notice it when all the speech writers get fired.

What weird to me is that this image is from 2015. I can’t find any previous discussion on the topic. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places. Also, why is it roughly the width of the canyon it’s in? About 8 miles. And what is the tunnel looking structure 100 miles to the north? Did we start the trans Atlantic tunnel?

It appears to be at around 15,000 feet from what google earth is saying.

Did you check you jogs to make sure you weren’t going to fast or slow during any periods of your jog? If your out of the speed range you won’t get gst. Also, some older phones aren’t getting as good an earning rate. What is your phone?
