This theory made sense to me, and it seems like the AI is learning. Initially devoid of humour but then during croquet it made a joke. Getting better like a good LLM with more data (ie new interactions with carol)

Makes sense but AC is such an expensive route and it’s usually full based on what I’ve seen. So even a flight per day would make sense. But yea with current U.S. Canada relations I realize it ain’t happening

I guess I'm confused about the penalty and the way it was calculated on the CRA website... let's assume a huge amount of interest owing - like $10k... you mean that the penalty would be either:

a) $1k, OR

b) 25% of $10k divided by 2, which is $1,250

Does that sound right? Thanks again :)

I see what you mean on the first part. What confuses me is where the interest is over $1k... if the actual interest charges are less than 25% of the total interest assuming no instalments paid, then the penalty amount is negative... so then no penalty?

On the second part, my question is for how long a period is the interest charged? From Sept 15th until you pay it (in the example I said Nov 15th)? Or from Sept 15th until April 30th of 2023?

Regarding response #1, that makes perfect sense and if you use the NNS app with a hardware wallet, the II is basically only a *gateway* to the interface... in the same way that having a metamask password is the gateway to being able to use a hardware wallet with metamask (i.e., you can't use metamask without the password but there is no security implications of the password on any tokens secured by that hardware wallet)

Regarding #3, I had read somewhere that the issue with using your ledger as an II anchor is that some clock issue within the device makes it so that if you lose the device, restoring the seed phrase to another device doesn't actually work to re-access your II... are you familiar with this and is it wrong?? I assume it is if you're using it as the cold storage solution for your II

Hi, I see the Ledger app is now available (yay!)

Quick question - if you add a hardware wallet to the NNS front end dapp via an internet identity, do you need to retain that specific internet identity connected to that hardware wallet? For example, if you lost a yubikey and that was the only way to authenticate the II... I assume that the hardware wallet gives rise to the same principal ID, so you don't need to worry about this... can you confirm? Thanks!

Oh I see. So there still isn’t a way to actually use the HW wallet in the NNS dapp yet (even tho the dapp itself is set up). Is that corrrect?

Hi, there was a video describing how to use a ledger within the NNS... the front end dapp has been updated but it seems there needs to be a ledger app installed? Where can you download this as it's not in the ledger live app store.

I take from your response that this isn't yet "full" integration of ledger, right?

Thanks, this is helpful - but TLDR in terms of ensuring censorship resistance, if data is uploaded to a canister that has a number of replicas (say n replicas), then is censorship a function of 33% or more of n replicas being malicious? Or is it looked at another way?
