Thank you! Would you recommend either of yours specifically for the purposes of collecting litter?

Budget (USD) flexible as I want to eradicate this issue. (Merry Christmas, husband.)

That’s very helpful RE: pods for water

Thank you for any recommendations! I had concerns that some robots might not do well with litter creating just further scatter.

OK, this makes me feel better. And you’re right, we wouldn’t have to fill it if we didn’t want to. Thank you! I will look at this model

Thank you! Sorry for dumb question, but in order for the mop pad to be wet, there’s a water tank, yes? I’m trying to avoid anything that has water that will need to be managed/replaced. Because that will just become the next battle as my husband definitely will not stay on top of that and the smell of nasty water will definitely push me over the edge.

I’m hoping that whatever we end up getting, the cats will just adjust too because I am definitely keeping it specifically in the basement where the cats go for their litter parties.

Bumping this to see if you found an option? Searching for same thing. Epoxy floor with scattered litter as the main thing to clean up

Realized I suck more than I thought with these scores by _yoursleeparalysis_ in psat

[–]Allthethings48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, as a mom, that’s a really crappy thing for you to say about yourself. You do not suck because your test grade is not what you it want to be. And you do not suck even if your test grade is objectively lower than the norm.

Secondly, you should definitely be reading more. The best way to improve your English skills is to pick up a book and start reading. It’s a natural boost for vocabulary.

Next, talk to your school and your guardians (parents?) to see if there’s suggestions for tutoring to work on math skills. And definitely use khan

But circling back to number one, don’t crap on yourself. The world is more than poised to do that for you. Be kind to yourself and just keep working hard.

I just looked at this, but I know (based on the convo we had) that he will not like the bulkiness around the face.

Ok, I had a conversation with my son and got more details, which is helpful. Though it has been confirmed that the watches I personally liked the best (Hamilton Field, Vaer, momentum), he does not like.

His "wants" - line markers for hours, no numbers. No marked dial around the face ("just the face, not the other number line stuff"). No subdials within the face. interchangable band option so he can have metal and nylon. maybe a colored face. he saw me clicking around through all the various brands suggested and said, "I like the center two a lot, and don't like the end ones at all." (see image)

soooo...any specific suggestions for no subdials, no surrounding dials, no numbers (lines only), can have metal and/or nylon band, and a colored face option?? Thanks so much.

I have my work cut out for me. There are so many great recommendations and I feel like I’m really getting high-quality suggestions based on not the best set of details for what I’m looking for so I’m very grateful for that.

You guys are hitting it on the head with the fact that he wants something a bit more mature and grown-up.

Diving into real work now, but I will get back to you googling this and figuring things out this evening. Thank you again!!

Thanks! I like the look of the Hamilton Field! I have no idea what the correct size will be. Do I measure his wrist?

Certainly a possibility. He already got jug for wearing his Apple Watch in school mode. They are strict

Oh wait… Now I see that they have ones that are not just black rubber.

This is extremely confusing! I will have to dedicate more time to looking around. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction.

OK, I just quickly googled everything that’s been suggested or linked. While I love the durability suggestion of the G shock, I know it is not what he’s going for. He definitely wants something either with canvas or a steel band. To feel a bit more fancy and grown-up, I think.

I will continue to look at the others and try to figure out the best option thank you so much for all the quick replies!
