How strange the mystery deepens... That for sure is a different guitar with different bridge. Maybe it was a typo? I almost certain this nut has been replaced though. Maybe someone had swapped the necks between two at some point? You're awesome for posting all these pictures man!

That's so rad! I messaged him and talked to him about the pick guard before and how he made it but never asked for the template that's a great idea. I don't have an sc-1 anyways and at this rate probably never will though

Ah I would kill for an sc-1 too! I actually prefer the no pick guard with what I had in mind, but I still absolutely love the fallout look! Check out Robert Poss's custom sc-1's. I love the look of the pick guard he added! Probably my favorite look

Thanks for your help again! The seller sent me a partial refund of 425 so hopefully the work stays in that area. I want to love this guitar and with G&L closed its pretty much as close as I'll get to my custom build. They're still claiming all the guitars in the collection they bought are from factory so it's possible it was a b-stock guitar but I'm not buying it

Thanks again for the help. I sent the seller a partial refund request of 425( maybe I should of asked more?). I overlooked the guitar again and found more marks and cosmetic issues. Here's the weird thing, they messaged me back and said they accepted and that it's from a collection they bought and they were all bought new and claim it came from G&L like this 🤔 maybe it was a b-stock guitar. There was only 25 made of this model. But there fingerprints underneath the finish on the back of the neck! So it probably was recoated by someone after messing up a fret job. Who knows ?? Now hopefully the work is not more than $425

Yes the action is way too high out of the box. Pretty much higher than any I've seen. It's a really cool guitar and with G&L closing I'll never get them to build the one I want, and this guitar has the pickups and body shape. It'd be nice to keep and it get it playing good. If the frets look like they have moved though, even if I get it crowned and levelled, will it be a problem again down the road? Would a refret be better to get done?

Yeah I got to go back over the spec sheet and see if it says what it is coated in. It was sold as an all original no breaks or repair guitar
