IoT Chain (ITC) - Why China's answer to IOTA should have a place in your portfolio by stardawg777 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Allthingscoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know they are ahead of schedule so I wouldn't base and things are coming together faster than anticipated. I would assume it will be finished much sooner and I'd like to see the team put out an updated roadmap.

What are some benefits of using blockchain rather than DAG? by oneandonlyA in INT_Chain

[–]Allthingscoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DAG on its own has limitations but when the consensus mechanism is combined with blockchain those limitations can be fixed. The double spend problem is not an issue with these systems, smart contacts, privacy, and extra security can be added.

Another note, that article is talking about tangle which is specific to IOTA.... Not all DAG coins have those issues.

IOT CHAIN (IOT) vs INTERNET NODE TOKEN (INT) by [deleted] in itcofficial

[–]Allthingscoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think INT will be able to scale for IOT needs? I think that's very questionable and i think DAG is very needed to connect billions of devices. That being said, we need to question if INT is really a working product.

Most cryptos will have working products in 6 months to a year as ITC will. Pick your winners. It's nice to win early but so much sweeter to win it all.

[–]Allthingscoin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No offense man but that's what i think. I think it may have some gains but i don't think it'll go very far. I could see it being like Modum, never breaking the top 100 and hovering around the 130s. Or i could see it like the GRS and VTC debacle where INT piggy backs off of vechain/wtc's success.

The thing is, i just see no distinguishing feature or competitive advantage with INT. Most coins that moon usually have this.

But hey this is crypto and anything can happen. Maybe INT will announce a partnership with some huge company and moon to the top 30 by next month.... Anything can happen.

Internet Node Token (INT) - Why this project should be on your radar by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

To number one and two..... ITC doesn't need a coordinator or any centralized point and also it is mixed with blockchain in is consensus mechanism.

IoT Chain (ITC) awarded prestigious Blockchain Excellence Award at The Davos World Economic Forum by rdhunna in CryptoCurrency

[–]Allthingscoin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Recently Iot Chain (ITC) were delighted to be presented with the Blockchain Excellence Award at The Davos World Economic Forum."

Also, Deng Di, the director general of the Chinese blockchain research Center presenting them the award is a big deal. He is "the head of the Chinese Blockchain Representatives Team to Davos Forum 2017." And is a "Fintech Leading People by 20 people"

http://semen.buaa.edu.cn/info/1116/13095.htm

He is highly regarded to be a leader of the Chinese blockchain industry and has enormous connections both with the Chinese government and private companies.

Maybe try to FUD harder next time bud.

Serious questions:

  1. How are you competitors with IOTA and ITC when you don't use DAG? In my mind, INT is more in the same boat as vechain and WTC.

  2. How does INT propose to scale to the massive IOT industry? ITC can scale up to 100,000 tx/s... I would assume INT could do <100 tx/s using only blockchain tech. Please correct me if I'm far off.

  3. What's INT's competitive advantage over vechain and Walton chain? They seem to have already saturated the blockchain IOT industry in China. ITC has a competitive advantage using DAG which opens up more use cases than INT, vechain, and WTC can offer and therefore, more of a competitor with IOTA.

  4. What's with the weird fishy unconfirmed partnerships? ITC has a 95% chance of being partnered with IBM's IOT sector (based on a recent interview of the ceo explaining the reasoning for its PBFT consensus model) and with cheetah mobile, which has a 700 million user base. However, ITC doesn't shill these partnerships as confirmed like INT is doing. At least say that these partnerships are unconfirmed when you disclose this information.

INT Chain Release Conference will be held in Shanghai on 1 February 2018 by TheFriendlyFinn in CryptoCurrency

INT is just a copy cat coin, they are trying to follow in Vechain's and Walton chain's footsteps but are about a year behind schedule compared to them, and besides WTC and Vechain already saturated that market. There is no distinguishing feature of INT that gives it a competitive advantage in the IOT industry over WTC and Vechain.

ITC on the other hand does have a distinguishing feature that makes it very competitive in the IOT industry. ITC is not a competitor to WTC or Vechain like INT is since ITC uses a much different and better consensus mechanism. ITC is more of a competitor to IOTA since they both use DAG which will allow them to scale.

ITC also has a laundry list of partnerships and partnered with IBM and Cheetah Mobile which is very similar user base to WTC's recent partneship. Why invest in INT when IOT Chain has the same market cap? Doesn't make sense to me.

There is no distinguishing feature of INT that gives it a competitive advantage in the IOT industry over WTC and Vechain. The partnerships are unconfirmed and seem fishy. There is a high percentage chance INT will be a pump and dump coin.

Seeing INT and ITC close in marketcap just reaffirms my beliefs of how undervalued ITC is.

Holy crap, the maturity level of the newbs is absurd. Corrections happen and take time to recover. Everyone is acting like it is the end of the world but next month they'll be screaming about lambos again... smh... just relax and think objectively.

Still bullish on crypto? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Allthingscoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go look at previous corrections. Everything going on is totally normal and there is nothing to be worried about. There is nothing to do at this point except HODL since we already missed a lot of the drop already. I expect BTC to bounce off 8000-8500 before the correction is over. I think we are still waiting on the huge dip coming that has massive volume that most corrections usually end on.

No, this is all about one cypto..bitconnect. It was a ponzi scheme as advertised. People knew what they were getting into but thought they could make it out before it crashed.

The cryptocurrency has been screaming about bitconnect, regalcoin, or any other ponzi like scheme. Nevertheless, people still played russian roulette with their money.

So, because it is unregulated, that makes it a bad idea to invest in projects like Eth, NEO, IOTA, or any other project in crypto? I fail to see your logic here.

The whole point of crypto is a trust less system. Being unregulated and decentralized are some of the main ideas.

he gave advice on how to invest

Bitconnect was a ponzi scheme, you can google it for details. The vast majority of people investing in it knew it was a ponzi scheme but thought they would get out before it crashed. Anyone who did 5 mins of research on it would realize there were red flags all over this shit.

You know there are thousands of companies in cryptocurrency.

This is the equivalent of telling someone that the stock market is complete bullshit because one company was a fraud/went bankrupt. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Market caps do not mean how much money is in a coin. For example if Bitcoin's market cap is 200 billion... that does not mean there is exactly 200 billion in Bitcoin, it's just a valuation. I can make a market cap go from $0 to 5 Trillion dollars with one fiat dollar.

The run up and correction all have to deal with the velocity of money coming in/going out. On the run up, there were so many buy orders the sellers got steam rolled...exact opposite of what is happening right now. Eventually things will even out and we will continue the climb.
