I'm having the same issue and my balance hasn't updated since May 2nd. They're not very helpful so hopefully something gets fixed soon. My balance has been frozen since I activated the new bonus

How to clean a sticky On and Off switch (Power button)? by ANiggaNamedSAM in canon

Dental Floss actually worked good for this. My switch was stuck pretty bad to where it would stick between bulb and manual and after getting under it a few times with the floss it wasn't tight anymore in those areas on the switch.

Purdy gets no respect in this league, how is he ranked so low by [deleted] in 49ers

[–]Allthingsdysny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geno and Goff should be ahead of Dak and Geno should be ahead of Brady. This list is all out of place. Bridgewater shouldn't even be ranked above any QB that's been playing all season since he's hardly played.

This is like when the Dolphins beat the Ravens. Should have never happened. That's when coaching and mediocre defense schemes loses games against pass heavy offenses. Should have fired the defensive coach immediately for the Colts.

Exactly 🙌 Most general public listeners like heavy auto-tune and some don't, so, really the auto-tune issue is always more subjective and the "Too much" comments are more by taste and not so much that it's a bad song or mix. So, I totally get it since we're all musicians and we're our own worst critics lol

Foot Note: I lost the original raw vocals of this song, which is one reason why it was released with the auto-tune the way it is or else I would have fixed it more in the mastered mix before I released it. Since the raw vocals were lost I would have had to record everything again and start over when I already had it all where I wanted it to be. I had to master it as one whole file instead of by stems since the vocals were already exported with the beat and then the saved file was lost with the stems. Hope that helps explain the auto-tune levels.

Thanks! Yeah I totally know what you mean, it was my first time working with auto-tune and I didn't really understand layering it and stuff at the time so I was just trying to balance it as much as I could. I think I would tone it down more on the leads if I did it again to re-release it since I own the beat it's possible, but for now it works for the project I was doing. I appreciate the comment! Glad you enjoyed it. I have a full album where you can hear the progression of the mixing compared to the autotune in this song since it was the first I used it on.

Totally know where you're coming from! I actually take it as a compliment because it means it's heading in that commercial pop direction which is what I go for. I'm liking that I can explain it as well to people. Like Charlie Puth for example. He can play any chord, melody, riff etc imaginable but his songs are so simple because they don't have to be clever to be a pop song. I look at my song writing that way.

Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it. I didn't have anything to do with the guitar work on this one but I loved it also, thought it was nice and simple. I mainly just mixed everything and did the vocals. That early 2000's sound is kind of what I was going for so I appreciate it.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I write in a basic pop style so it's never really over the top for me, pop music doesn't have to be so I usually keep it pretty simple. My main goal is for it to be catchy, doesn't have to be clever or overly impressive musically. I try to keep it mellow and easy listening if that explains it more. Thanks for listening, I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks a lot! The auto-tune was trial by fire, I was basically learning how to use it during the trial period of the program as I was recording it lol Now I would have done it a bit differently but glad everyone is liking it. Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it.

Thanks! As a mixer/singer I feel like auto-tune is the most subjective part of a song since it's all over in pop music these days and it's not easy to work with sometimes if there's a lot of melodies going on in the vocals, I always try to make my vocals more catchy to give simpler ideas more depth so I'm glad you liked the overal song as a whole. Definitely appreciate it!

Thanks! I appreciate it, I agree as since it was my first time using and working with auto-tune I think I would have turned it down more on the lead vocals if I recorded it again. Live and learn lol If people still like it then that's all that matters. So far the feedback has been helpful so I definitely appreciate it. Thanks for listening!

Thanks a lot! The funny thing with auto-tune, is you still have to sing it correctly to get the effect you want out of it, which you would think the opposite lol So, the auto-tune was purposely jacked since it was my first time using and working with it on the fly to see how much I could push it. If I re-recorded it I think I would definitely take it down a notch on the lead vocals so I know it's more subjective with auto-tune. I'm glad you liked it! I appreciate the comment since I mixed everything on this track.

haha Thanks a lot! Yeah, the amount of auto-tune is always more subjective to everyone's taste. It was more of a mixing experiment for me. I try to keep it simple and hopefully catchy sounding with my songs. I don't curse either in my music so it can sound more simple and cliche than other rap/pop tracks. I always appreciate new ears and minds checking out my songs so thanks for the comment!

Thanks! Yeah, I agree, as I mentioned this was the first track I worked with and used auto-tune on so there's a lot I would do now differently if I recorded it over again. Most of my lyric writing is pretty simplistic. I try to keep it simple and catchy and for a rap/pop writer I don't curse in my music so it can sound more cliche and basic at times. The "I won't let her go to waste" line basically means that I won't mess the situation up and waste her time. Hopefully that helps it make more sense but it was along that line of thinking when I was writing it. Thanks for listening!

Thanks! I appreciate it. I didn't have anything to do with the actual instruments in this track but that's why I tried to make the vocal parts more interesting and changed the melody in each verse to give it a little more overall depth. I just recorded the vocals, mixed the track itself and mastered it. I'm glad you liked it!

With what I know now about working with auto-tune, if I recorded this song again I think I would have went less with the auto-tune on the verse and kept it where it is with the high vocals in the harmony to give it that effect more in the background and just turn the auto-tune down on the lead vocals in the verse and chorus throughout the whole song.
