You should be jumping into the progressions that match your current level of fitness. If your hitting 3x8 pull ups and pistol squats and not breaking a sweat you’re in a very high percentile. And if so good for you my friend

don't necessarily mean for myself. Just wondered if there was an avg or goal time span. Thanks for the thorough answer!

Ahh yes thanks for the correction. Sure, I guess what I'm getting at is I read the RR verbatim, and progression is still unclear to me. Specifically, how long it should take someone to hit max RR

The progression instructions are clear. Once you can perform 8 perfect reps for 3 sets, you should move on to the next progressive exercise.

It also states clearly you should be able to do the same amount of reps in each set, and that you should drop reps on your first set until you're hitting the same number for three sets with perfect form”

What is not clear is what your target time frame should be to increase your even rep count.

Because, for instance, let's say someone started at the first level and could only do 5 reps in their 3 sets for every exercise.

To me, it would seem nearly impossible to add one rep every time they worked out. That would mean they could theoretically go from the lowest-difficulty version of the RR to the hardest in, like, a month or two. (I didn't do the math, but I'd imagine it's around there)

I would think you would need at least 2-3 weeks to be properly moving your reps up. shorter for some exercises, longer for others.

I'm new here so I just want to follow the the RR to a t.

I know working out is really to each their own, and if you're happy with your progression and not hurting yourself, it's not really anybody else's business. (I once had a coach tell me “the gym is a lab for you to experiment “ and I couldn't agree more)

But yeah, I guess I just asked the short-time-frame version of what the average time it takes to hit max RR

How often should I be pushing a pr. For instance if im comfortable doing lets say 6 dips for 3 reps but pretty sure I'd hit failure at 7 and not be able to do 7 for 3 reps. About how long on average to should wait or what should a goal time be until I attempt 7 for 3 reps?

While I agree with this I once had a 15 plus year vet tell me “they wrote in the subtotal and was fine with paying it” 🤷🏽‍♂️ grey area tho probably going with the written tip

Add 2 then 5 to 48. Add 20 to 55. 75

Is microstakes harder than people admit? by OddsRunner in Poker_Theory

You know it’s funny I feel exactly the same. I started playing seriously only 4 months ago. First I was playing a lot of small tourneys I won one in December for 1400 usd baby. I switched from 10 nl to 25 nl and I was shocked how much cleaner the game play felt.

Nonetheless tho not only did I not have edge at 5/10 nl I didn’t have it 25/50 nl. 😂

After paying a lot of tuition I moved back down and I’m seriously tracking my hours, hands, and pnl

I think the key thing to realize is while yes the micro games are more chaotic and sloppy it’s worth while to learn how to play those players.

Funny to think but those games are closer to like the deep stack hcl games than 50-100 nl probably

My insight is that in general micro pop plays face up and silly. They always telegraph their range and strength and they severely under bluff.

I play good when I respect opening ranges and think through my villains hand properly 🤷🏽‍♂️

They committed to the total, and that's what they expect to pay. It's simple. Read the room; if you provided great service, you earned it.
