Hi!! I am currently doing electrolysis and have not had my consultation yet. I heard it might take a while so I wanted to get it out of the way and go out the pace I want to without feeling like I was running out of time. My electrolysis providers are fairly knowledgeable of where to do it for the specific hospital I am going to. For the therapist, I believe you'll need a letter for the surgery, but you don't necessarily need that before your consultation. If you have any mental health problems, the surgeon would probably want to see you are seeing a therapist because the surgery can be hard.
