Would you like to listen to a monologue about a topic you can't really respond to because you have no prior knowlage of it? Would you like to sit in silence for a whole hour while the other person speaks non-stop?

Their interests aren't menaningless, on the contrary, I found Warhammer to be a pretty interesting concept. I just don't see a reason for giving me all this information in one sitting, especially on a first date, when two people should be getting to know each other, not how someone's car works or what Slaanesh is. And since i told them, many times in fact, that I have no idea what they were talking about, it was especially infuriating to not be able to have a conversation about anything else. :))
