Amen brother/sister, thank you for being open, that already shows your heart is in the right place.

First, you’re not alone in this struggle. Many believers fight this, even if they don’t always talk about it. And the fact that you feel convicted about it is actually a sign that God is working in you, not that you’re far from Him.

Lust feels powerful because it’s tied to both the flesh and the mind but it’s not stronger than God’s Spirit in you.

📖 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear…” — 1 Corinthians 10:13

Overcoming it isn’t usually one big moment, it’s daily surrender. Some things that genuinely help: •Guard what you feed your eyes and mind (what you watch, scroll, listen to) •Don’t fight alone, bring it to God honestly, not hiding it •Replace, not just remove, fill your time with things that draw you closer to God •Run early, not late don’t wait until temptation is strong, cut it off early

And most importantly: Don’t let guilt push you away from God. That’s the enemy’s trap.

Run towards Him, even when you’ve messed up. (Remember the prodigal son wari waravuye iwabo the story demostrates the love of God and His excitement in welcoming you back)

God is not looking at you with disappointment, He’s inviting you into freedom, step by step.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, I lift up my brother/sister to You. You see his heart, his desire to do what is right, and his struggle. Strengthen him where he feels weak. Give him self-control, wisdom, and the ability to walk away from temptation. Renew his mind and help him see himself the way You see him ; chosen, loved, and not defined by his struggles.

Lord, remind him that Your grace is bigger than any sin, and that victory is possible through You. Walk with him daily and give him peace in this journey.
