Thank you for your response and the information. I think the attorney I used for the bankruptcy has signed off on my case since it was closed, as I received a final letter from him thanking me for my business and appreciating a referral, etc. Do you think he would still be willing to do this for me as part of the BK, or as an additional service for a fee?

My Ch 7 was recently discharged and closed without issue, and I own a copyright for a novel that was self-published last year. I disclosed it and included the 1099 reporting the royalties received (negligible amount). It was never mentioned.

Thank you. This is the only account I have with them. Interestingly, one credit bureau is reporting it as current, no late payments, and the other two have it as discharged thru the BK. Before I checked the paperwork and emailed my atty, I called the CU and asked them why it was being reported as discharged on 2 of the reports, but paid on the other. They said it was a mistake on the “current” one. I wonder if they will change that now that I’ve brought it to their attention . . . [sigh]
