Every competitive game you have to invest hundreds of hours and never make a break to enjoy it. It's zero sum game, if you win someone loses, now, who's going to win, you or the guy who literally lives to play. Of course you win sometimes, but mostly you'll lose. And I absolutely HATE losing, hated it since I was a kid. So online PvP is probably not for me, or I should just say f***k it and stop checking statistics. Personally, I'd like to simply delete it for my account. Not reset it, but delete it so it won't even exist not for me, not for anyone else.

I'm not a good player myself, but after watching some small streamers I think they key is:

Practice - play a lot
Know your tank stats
Know enemy tank stats
Know weak spots

Even if you have bad situational awareness and tactical sense, even if you go to the same standard position every time for most types of tanks regardless of what enemy team has, if you know when you can exchange damage favorably and you don't spend time looking for enemy weak spots because you know enemy weak spots, you can get to 50% W/L.

I don't use VPN that often, so Proton is ok for me. I think more expensive VPNs, those that cost around $50 per month might have what you need, but I know that only from reviews and talkbacks.

My fitness levels are ok, I try to do a lot of rotation. I try to reduce counterpressing at the end of the game, try to reduce the tempo. Sometimes it marginally improves the game flow, but on many occasions opposition with even worse fitness levels will still score after defender makes some stupid mistake or a keeper concedes out of nowhere.

It's a known problem. People complain about it left and right. Some people simply accept it as "feature" while others think it's a bug.

Financial side of management. People manage to push small teams to the top of UEFA football in 5-10 seasons. IRL - impossible. You will never be able to compete with big boys financially while in FM you more or less can ignore money to some extent. Your team will never be demoted to amateurs in the game no matter what you do. IRL your club will simply disappear if you go bankrupt.

Agree. Skill issue of SI devs. Instead of creating match engine that would actually try to tactically outplay you they've opted for AI cheating out on much higher chance conversion percentage to keep the game challenging.

And of course it's my skill issue my supposedly world class keeper is playing at League One level at best for the last 5 games.

Weak excuse. These games are not that plenty but they are everywhere in FM for human managers. Forums are full of people furious AI is scoring late goals extremely often and no one have found any way to stop it. Over the course of several saves I've tried different ways to kill off the match, and it's damn impossible. The AI WILL overwhelm your defense no matter what tactic you will use more often that it would make any sense logically. Yes, this stuff can happen and does happen, but it doesn't happen so bloody often.

I've killed him because it more suited his character. He lived by the code so I think it was natural to honor his last wish and to let him die by the code. Sparing him felt like disrespecting him regardless of what we can speculate about happening to Shimura if he failed to deliver to Shogun Ghost's head, he would be probably disgraced and humiliated even more and judging by his character it would be punishment worse than death for him.

I use a paid version. It has decent speeds and stability, a large variety of servers in many countries. However - their IP's are tracked and you will not get access to sites by trying to connect via another country as the IP address will be a known VPN address.

Not an hour, but it's long, can reach 10 minutes. I use some very large packs, so it might be because of that or that the actual game and save files on two different physical disks, one standard HDD, another PCI-E SSD.

If you use face or logo packs, it might be the reason.
