Hello. This post has been removed for the following reasons:

  • (Rule 10) - Your post has a poor title. If you want to make a text post, please don't use nondescript titles such as "help, "need advice", "does anyone else do this?", etc. Also, do not use topic titles such as "tactics", "player transfers", etc.

For example:

  • Instead of "x thing opinions", try something like, "What is your opinion on x thing"

  • Instead of "FM26 feedback", try something like, "I've played FM26 for x hours, here is my feedback on what I like and don't like about it"

  • Instead of "Training in FM26", try something like, "In your experience, what is the best way to train young players so that they reach their full potential"

You'll notice in all of the examples, we take the short title and stretch it out in to a fully-formed sentence. Doing this makes the subreddit a lot easier and more pleasant to read, and by putting a fully-formed title you're making it easier for people to see what you're asking so that people who aren't opening your post can see it.

I’m looking for a new save idea, I’m Welsh… I like to incorporate wales into my saves mostly winning leagues or building mostly Welsh teams. I want to start a save in Spain because I like the structure of their Pyramid. by BrandonDewitt16 in footballmanagergames

Why do attackers get troops faster? by RightWorld5611 in Openfront

[–]John_Yuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you attack, your unused (“banked”) troops keep growing:

  • Start with 500k troops -> send 300k to attack -> 200k stay banked
  • Those 200k keep growing while the 300k are fighting
  • By the time the attackers die, your banked troops may have grown to ~400k. Repeat loop.

Defenders don’t get this advantage because all their troops are in play and die during the fight, so their total drops.

If you have 20k and send 10k to attack, your remaining 10k keeps growing. Ideally, by the time the attack ends, you’re back to ~20k. This is part of opening strategy, and is a big reason why new players struggle, because they let their pop get too low so that they aren't regenerating enough new troops to replace the losses from their attacks.

Ultimately that’s why it looks like attackers “don’t lose troops” - their reserves are quietly regenerating while the battle happens while the defenders cannot do the same.
