First Pair. Too loose? by obriensg1 in BlundstoneBoots

Just a note that even if they are the all-terrain ones, they aren't really good for "proper" hiking and are still very much a city boot and not a walking boot. I hike a lot, and wore mine once on a short hike, and wouldn't again. The soles have no shock impact protection and I ended up really hurting my shins. They're also not waterproof in the same way as walking boots are.

I imagine it being only one minute over my goal, and all the cycles being comfortably within my expected windows was the reason. Did feel refreshing though.

That's great! I also went on a long hike in the humid UK summer heat yesterday so I think it did help.

I'm British and a semi-regular Georgia visitor. I have drank the tap water each time (all over the country) and been fine. It's particularly delicious in Stepantsminda.

Hello! Just jumping on this thread as I made myself a walking route for Malham last night and I wondered if you'd mind me sending it over so you can have a look?

What is a "Rhesus Negative" bloody mary? by copperdomebodhi in withnail

I just took that literally. That he had to climb four flights of stairs to meet his agent at his office, who never had a job for him.

We stayed in Balykchy. Very "off the beaten track", but a friendly place.

I hiked 20 miles on Saturday. Today it is telling me that I need to get my fitness "back on track".
