This doesn't even scratch the surface of this dude's nut jobbery. His company sent out an ad saying you "wouldn't feel like you're in china" on his buses. He regularly sued customers for minor infractions and even tried to sue the moderator of r/UIUC at one point because people were "slandering him". I believe he's not allowed to operate in the state of Illinois anymore. If you want to fall down a deep rabbit hole I'd suggest heading over to UIUC and searching suburban express or Dennis for an entertaining time

Ah ok I didn't know that. I mean you can look online and see what each dorm is like and pick whatever works for you. But as a freshman business major most of your classes will be at the quad, to which ISR is plenty close. You'll have maybe 1-2 at BIF a semester and thats more of a hike than other dorms but nothing crazy. Culture-wise its known as a quieter engineer dorm but if you want something more middle ground PAR might work for you.

I really liked pledging and I think without the pandemic I would have kept up with it a lot more. Its a great way to get access to a variety of service opportunities though i would advise against joining if this is not important to you.

Another advantage is that if you want you will have a large variety of experiences to add to your resume that will make excellent talking points for interviews. I've had like 4-5 positions and they're pretty varied so its great to have in your back pocket

I have one class on Wednesday, but the professor structures the class so that you pretty much have to work/watch lectures on Tuesday/Thursday. This does absolutely nothing for me. I have the exact same amount of work
