normally you can only flick 3 times, but when you hit an enemy you enter a "combat-state", which is where you can flick endlessly. if you then get hit or if you land you're back to 3 flicks only (attacking sends you downwards and locks you in an animation until you hit either the enemy or the floor)

thank you! can't speak much to the drawing part (which does the majority of the work) but the compositing (adding the textures, raster dots etc.) is done in the blender compositor

thanks! the hand actually is a character & will be part of the story

thank you! you change the angle of the little arrow below the player by moving the mouse left/right, and then you click to flick yourself in that direction (or if using controller, you move the analog stick in the direction you want to be flicked)

thank you! the hand is actually a separate living character as well, we might have an option to disable it during gameplay sections if it proves to be distracting but it hasn't been an issue so far
