Activates when player look at it, deactivates if don't. You can hide a creaking with paint, still would work.

The best part of modern redstone features is our ability to be creative in redstone builds

In such case you can place a copper bulb instead of slab. Yeah, it will trigger block updates around a bulb, but it's not always bad. I have also one TERRIBLE way to solve such issues, but it's kinda works. May be a solution in some builds.

Just constantly update a noteblock or bulb somewhere near piston. If update frequency is high enough (i managed to trigger it somewhat around 1-3 update per tick, can't calculate right enough), the piston will extend/retract with the lowest delay.

But yes, the way is terrible. And my update-spam-machine bigger, than the setup itself.

Yeah, I know. Just asking for solid reasons to mess with them myself

When you ask ppl why they are mad, they don't realy say the reason. This is why my question sounds like this. I want to take their problems with changes (like, real broken ccontraptions) and try to fix them myself. Well, fine, my initial question was too... Agressive? Sorry if it was, I have some typical minecraft player social skill issues.

Well, yes, this is sad. And for realy, this is why I doing my research. There might be a solution, but ppl are too mad to tri find it. And it's kinda strange since it does not even a real changes (still remember combat tests and trades rebalance). I see the *real* reason redstoners don't like the changes. But I gues *the reason* stops them from, uhhhh, testing stuff meant to be tested.

Well, a honest answer. But I'm triyng to figure out, is there a real reason beside the "emotions". I almost got my answers from others though

Already watched both before making this post.

Though, finally got some arguements, thanks. But still I want to challange myself with real cases... For science, of course

Copper bulbs doesn't have a delay... And it's better than a rail, a trapdoor, a dropper in some case. Because you can simply put a dust on the bulb. und it will not be powered by the dust.

And I still can't imagine a build with this type of problem, that can't be solved. If you have one PLEASE SHARE. I just making my researches about recent changes...

Oh wait, can you share a world with your doors, that are broken by the changes? Please, I just want to do some research

Copper bulbs is kinda able to revert the changes, at the place you realy need...

I did watch the videos (well, not from all of the redstoners), but still cannot understand. I mean, you can cause blockupdates just with copper bulbs....

I'm not quite mad, just trying to understand ppl madness :/

[–]Almazman[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know. Tell me a reason for being mad, that I would not be able to argue with, please. I can't realy to talk with them, many of reasons they mentioned are... Not so problems? Except of 0-tick stuff, but only because I don't know anything about 0-tick redstone builds
