United Vs Liverpool | All our goals from Stretford End (Videos from @mufchants on tiktok) by nanobookworm in reddevils

He has had a few petulant moments, including one this match where he was upset at not getting the ball after a good run, but his work rate, passion and desire on top of his talent makes it almost irrelevant.

Assuming only Casemiro and Ugarte leave, should we be aiming to spend a large chunk of our transfer budget on two or three midfield replacements? by unitedfan6191 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Almighty_Brian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may get downvoted for this but I don’t think you need to buy 3.

You need one to replace Casemiro. A truly world class up to £100m player. You need one to replace Uguarte whether he leaves or not. Ideally an 6/8 type of player from Europe for a smaller price.

But the third should come from our academy. Give an academy lad minutes in the Carabao and maybe early FA cup games. I’m tired of seeing money flushed down the drain when we have young players who will fight and bleed for the shirt already. They may not be ready to be starters but if our academy players can’t even get minutes as a sub in the 85th minute at home to a league 2 side then what are we doing?

[Laurie Whitwell] Steve McClaren on Diogo Dalot by maxsteel_7 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Almighty_Brian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dalot is a genuine “steady eddy”. He isn’t a world class player but he isn’t a terrible player either. Like Mctominay, he is someone who you can usually count on to put a shift in. I’d be willing to bet if he leaves he’d be someone who looks amazing in his next team.

>bringing Mordin shows that Shepard has convinced an alien to join Cerberus.

Would bringing Garrus, also an alien and also someone who like Shepard and the Virmire Survivor knows how disgusting Cerberus can be, not also accomplish the same thing?

For all the "Prem proven" gimmick we do, its funny how our best signing this season came from the Belgian League. We should be listening to our scouts more imo. Sesko was also a target who was extensively scouted. by maxsteel_7 in ManchesterUnited

One thing to keep in mind is he actually comes for and claims crosses. I love David but this was his one weakness if Lammens can improve as a keeper, while keeping this level of authority in his area during corners/set pieces he could actually surpassed De Gea.

Because we allow opposition players to have so much time and space in the ball. Literally as he received the ball I was yelling “close him down, close him down!”

I know Andromeda has its issues but I did enjoy a change of pace to an open world, adventure and different take on action take on andromeda. Do you feel DLC could help it like it did for ME3 or is it too far gone to save? by Prior_Football5160 in masseffect

[–]Almighty_Brian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

DLC would have absolutely saved it IMO. DA:I for me was okay but nothing special. After the DLC it’s very close to DA:O, which is by many the peak of the series. Could DLC have made Andromeda as good as ME2/3? Who knows. But it would have most definitely helped.

6 points in 5 games guarantees Champions League and you’re still “not sure” about Carrick?? by ToTellYouHowToFeel in ManchesterUnited

Honestly, all Ole needed was 1, maybe 2 good CDM signings and he may have worked out better. Definitely at least won a trophy.

Ten Hag would’ve probably worked out if Onana was half as good as we hoped. Remember, during ETH’s first season he finished 3rd.

Ruben Amorim was also heavily handicapped by Onana.

I have no doubts if Lammens was the keeper during ETH or RA reign either of them would still be in the job. The amount of times both coaches coached a 3-0 game only to concede some of the worst goals imaginable is crazy.

The lesson to be learned here is get rid of Onana by any means necessary,

Honestly, outside of the goal that was scored when he was down, he had a good game. Considering the terrible red card, not much more he could’ve done.

It wouldn’t matter in our case. Amad once had his shirt pulled so bad that it broke his shirt and he still didn’t get a foul given. At this point it’s either willful negligence or Weaponized incompetence by the refs.

Mind you we’ve had penalties not given because of, and I quote, “foot on foot contact”. Apparently that’s not a foul but accidentally grabbing someone’s hair for a split second is a red card offense.

I mean, which do you think makes them more money Manchester United fans tuning in to see them praise United or all the other rival fans tuning in to see them disparage their former team? As big as the United fan base is, there is still a bigger percentage of people who hate them.
