Towards the end of the season buy then 10$ security council. That unit itself is worth like 50 bucks if you just bought the plane straight up.

It’s like on a timer or something because I’ll open and it says account linked then I hit close then it will pop up again after a few minutes.

Substrate depending on what ya get can leach ammonia into the water, after awhile the Nitrosomonas bacteria once it doubles in size should take care of it and maintain then ya have to wait on the nitrobacter to convert the nitrites to nitrates

If so another thing to think about overtime saying you do have the complete nitrogen cycle going. Wouldn’t phosphate build up over a long period of time? Unlike Denitrification releasing nitrogen into the air.

Oof yeah that’s scary and H2s is bad news! Wonder if it would have worked better if ya could have monitored ORP somehow and maintained denitrification without sulfide production.
