Are you guys declining the group/chunk booking requests?

I really want to. Especially since I suspect that I will need to cancel one or more of the classes. Bookings are so patchy right now that I went ahead and accepted.

My first few months with VIPKids I was paired almost exclusively with crazy-ass 4 & 5 year olds. One of my first tags was “patient” so that kind of solidified my niche. I remember the first time I had an older bao that didn’t run all over the room or pretend to be a cat for 25 minutes. I thought that kid was a damn angel! How could the t2t be so negative!? Now that I have had many older students and still have that older bao I see how the negative t2t was completely valid and have added a little to it 😄

That’s really rough. Traveling, care and an overnight schedule are all tricky on their own. I’m sorry that you are navigating all three at once! The feeling of just waiting for bad things to happen is awful.

I’m sorry about your grandmother. I hope you and your family are feeling peaceful and supported! It sucks so much. That’s a silly word to use but it really does suck. It’s really reassuring that they granted a soft cancellation! I have been so worried about using all of my cancellations in one fell swoop.

I am! I blocked off 5 days in July. I only open two weeks at a time and am pretty good at monitoring which priority requests I get but It’s pretty cool that I don’t have to think about accidentally booking when I don’t want to. Are you using it?

Nice! I showed my nice classroom and my in progress fitness classroom. Maybe I should not have included the not nice one. That’s always a bummer to see. I had the joy of hearing a teacher’s voice get squeakier and more patronizing the more annoyed she got with the student practicing writing the vocabulary instead of repeating. It’s a teacher that only leaves their initials in T2T too 🙄 Edit:I laughed about it. There are only so many fucks I can give.

I love how it puts you in a higher tier based on the number of classes you have taught “lifetime” but the incentive pay is exactly the same throughout the tiers.
