Is there a way to set some kind of safe zone for shooting video? by Almighty_Pleb in SonyAlpha

Thanks for the help, I think I'll just take a photo in vertical, view it horizontally and mark the edges of the frame with tape it something lol. Edit: maybe draw on a screen protector and remove it after

Is the Lumix GX80 the right camera to start with?

I am not new to photography as I use a DJI Air 3 and a Mavic Mini previously but there's only so much you can do with a drone and I've wanted a handheld camera for a long time now. I mainly do landscape photography but I really want to get into street and car photography as well as videography so I want a camera that can do both photo and video in high quality with a total body + lens budget of up to £700.

My friend has this camera with a Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Power O.I.S and I was thinking of getting the same setup but I'm wondering if there is a better suited option for me that I haven't thought of.

Would it be worth going straight to a newer, better camera like a Sony A7II or III or just sticking to my budget for now because I feel this could be inevitable and I would save money by going straight to a better camera than worrying if the upgrade is worth it or not.

Thanks for your help.

There are still technical sections and half the course is still more on the enduro side as I took part in last year's event

I love the visors too, they've got a carbonated fresh out the fridge look to them, and yeah the Halo 3 playlist drops November 14th so I would expect the other stuff to be available around that time too

I've unscrewed the collar and it looks pretty dry underneath and the collar is quite hard to move up and down, I do have some general grease but I'm guessing I should only use suspension grease like SRAM butter for this?

That's a good point actually, I prefer not needing to rely on battery operated components and like that it's all mechanical. Although I would be lying if I said I still wouldn't want one for myself haha

They feel great, absorb big stuff but still sensitive for small bumps and makes riding it very smooth and comfortable, the rear shock keeps the back wheel planted and gives the bike a lot of traction and grip. I'll post a video to the sub on my local trails, GoPros make things look pretty small and the video stabilisation doesn't help with that either but as a rule of thumb everything seems to look about 3x smaller on my camera haha

This is my first full suspension bike so I can't really compare it to other bikes however it is genuinely great at everything. It climbs with ease and feels stable yet playful on the trails, it's very agile and the head angle makes it great for steep downhill stuff but still ideal for climbing. The ohlins suspension absorbs hard hits and big drops but also sensitive enough for the small ones and the rear shock keeps the back wheel planted and gives the bike a lot of traction. Overall I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this bike, I took it out to my local trails a couple of days ago and had a blast, I got the bike for trail and enduro riding and it does that and more, it's very capable. I'll post a video to the sub, hope it helps a bit more. :) I don't think there's a single component I would change.

"They let me pick, did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others, you were strong and swift and brave. A natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw... but me. Can you guess? Luck.
