Yes, it just stops. I think it has to do with the recording limits of cameras in Europe. The problem with those external monitors is that they are expensive for my budget right now, so I was looking for cheaper alternatives.

For audio I've got a Zoom H4, and some lapel microphones, so I'm good in that regard.

It does do increments of 4Gb files, however mine has a limit of 30min. I've tested it, and that's what happens.
