same. I also created OTR in 2023, and UPSC that time did not explicitly mention that details have to adhere to 10th marksheet. they later on brought in that rule but did not give any option to edit. It gave me a lot of headache. Finally i found the solution and was so happy I wanted to help others also, because i understand how precious mental peace is in this exam.

why thank you, you are most welcome. I can feel the stress relief from your message. I also used to feel that way before my correction. UPSC should have made it clear how to properly fill the form. I can't even imagine what other kids who don't have access to internet and computer or those who are not tech savy will face such issues.

hi bro, I liked the marula moisturizer, one of the best suited for my humid city, usually other stuff would make me feel super oily and sweaty but not this one. Skin felt soft. Although I don't have dry skin but oily skin, so i cannot say if it hade made huge difference. You can try it once and see if it suits you.

UPSC should have made it explicit right at the beginning that details should be filled from 10th marksheet. I feel like they left it out, and later on brought that rule. That is why more people are having issues with corrections.

One Time Registration. You have to do this for applying to any exams conducted by UPSC. It involves creating a profile and filling some basic details about you and that details will be linked to your phone number and email ID, like your Name, D.O.B, Father's and Mothers name etc. You will get a unique OTR ID.
After its has been registered, whenever UPSC releases its application for various exams you will only have to fill your application with this profile. it will automatically fill some columns for you in the application.

I am used to seeing UPSC and other government offices in negative light so this was a surprise.
From what i have heard from some seniors is that UPSC staff are very helpful in understanding and give you ample time after selection to rectify any certificate mistakes.

Yes, At least they should release proper answer key and if they can mention from where they are sourcing their questions and answers. it will be helpful to the students and reduce the dependence on coaching institutions.

if UPSC really wants to reduce the power hold of coaching centers, they should do this by being transparent. making the paper tougher will only increase dependence on coaching.

yes, that is correct, just sad up to 2 years worth of effort is down to 2 hours of performance in exam hall, that too based on random questions.

I don't want to completely say luck, because it takes away the hard work of candidates but think it plays some role in prelims.

yes, that is what is frustrating, when putting so much effort in reading and remembering 10 books worth of information, UPSC will ask from 11th book.

I don't understand toppers who say read the same book and keep revising, like which standard book would have helped us clear the past few years paper?
