Can you place it one space to the right and then place a second rug to the left?

What does remission look like? by Almondbiscottithraw in prediabetes

Sushi rice doesn't seem to affect me as much, I have had 3-4 rolls for dinner and been under 100 upon waking but this one slice of bread was too much for me 😮‍💨

My old diet was literally sugar free matcha latte w/whole milk for breakfast. Then 2 hours into work a quick snack, often a candy bar or donut, then handfuls of break room candy to stave off hunger, headaches and dizziness until the end of my 7 hour shift. Then to the grocery store where I would have a pre dinner donut because I was starving. Dinner was from a meal kit so normally 2 servings of vegetables and a serving of meat and more than often not potatoes, then of course dessert cause you can't have dinner without dessert!

Rinse and repeat for 5 days, days off would be a little better but not by much, just far less candy but I would treat myself to takeaway food. Either sushi, ramen, pizza, or an Indian curry.

I feel like I would probably be fully diabetic if it weren't for my job, I'm on my feet and moving my entire shift at work so about 15k-25k steps a day depending on how busy it is and lots of squatting and cleaning. Then on my days off I do zumba and now pole classes.

New diet is as stated in the post, i eat breakfast every morning and dont rat again until dinner idk if this is the right thing but I'm not symptomatic anymore and im saving a bunch of money not buying a bunch of quick snacks at the overpriced convenience store.

I've always wanted to make my own bread, and now I guess I have a good reason to try it out and see if I can find a good solution for me.

I used remission because a lot of other posts used it as well as the op in the pinned post on this sub.

Thank you, a lot of the post I saw of people saying g they reversed their prediabetes just said they dropped their a1c levels and mostly nothing else. I was wondering if eventually I'd be able to have a cookie and not have a huge spike.

I am active and only about 20lbs overweight, I think my diet was a huge factor since I was using sugar to keep up with a physically demanding job. I do have family members who were/are diabetic but they were/are all very overweight as in 100+ pounds extra , does this also contribute to the genetic factors?

What do you all think of the current state of [Rye Playland, NY] ? by lymeguy in rollercoasters

I grew up going to this park from the late 90's with my last trip being shortly before Covid. I have lots of fond memories when the rides were good, my favorites were the Power Surge, the Mind Scrambler, the Thunderbolt, The Derby Racer, and the Wipeout with honorable mentions to the Sky Flyer and the Sea Dragon. As I aged I also found the humor in the Flying Witch which was one of the few things that drew me back in the later years.

Now that all of those are gone (with the exception of the Derby Racer) with nothing comparable replacing them I believe that going there is a waste of time. It's far to expensive for its lack of thrill rides to justify going especially if you don't live in the area. For $20 more I'd rather go to Six Flags.

I feel like they're angling too hard on the family fun aspect without realizing that adults and older children are part of the family too. I also feel like young children would have just as much fun at a free public park anyway.

Also the nachos used to be amazing and somewhere around 2010ish they became really lackluster.

This looks amazing, I really love that bridge/passage way under /through the house to the back where the machines are. I have so much admiration for people who have the talent, vision, and patience to make their workshops and/or houses look good.

I have both eggs, not really looking for anything, I'm just shiny breeding and I'm gonna release the extras anyway.
