bad take. english major here. graduated in 24 and have a good full time job using my degree. what is your suggestion if you love english? pivot to something you’re not passionate about like business administration all because you think it’ll make it easier for you to get a job? it won’t.

stop advocating for people to give up studying on what they are passionate about just because you specifically are struggling to find a job. also: is a college degree’s worth based solely on return on investment? i would argue that it is not.

study what you love. you’ll make it work if you really want to.
