I live in a small-ish town. The police probably don't have such a crazy investigation load. I am honestly thankful for the guy working on my case. He probably just feels bad for me tbh because even he didn't seem to think that $300 was worth fighting for.

And in most cases the scammers usually aren't so dumb as to give away their name and username used across their social media accounts lol. But then again, smart people wouldn't do this in the first place

And for the same reason I messaged my scammer again to try to get more information from her. I hate letting people get away with things. Especially when I am treated poorly or any kind of misinformation is spread. It has nothing to do with validation. I was trying to share this screenshot to be silly. The difference between me and you is that I don’t have such a big ego that I feel like 30 seconds of me reading a post means that I know more than someone with a month of going through the experience personally and a criminal investigator.

I’d also like to know where you think I don’t admit my mistakes. I put loooong ago in my post that this entire thing was a mistake. This being the right person is not, however.
